edit: i've tried deleting all the .txt files in the folder as well, to no avail. As soon as it refreshes, it crashes
Can you try removing/deleting the corrupt replay from the folder? Maybe that would help <_<
Aye, Its crashing everytime it finds a new corrupted one. But it wont tell me the file name till i reopen it. I just remember the old one saying, "Can bwchart move this to a new folder so that it ignores it?" or something like that. Its kind of a pain in the butt, cause i have 9,000 replays or so and im having to reopen the program alot just to manually find the file and delete it. I'm at 10 times and im only 1/100 through.

If it's a problem with this version, then download the older version from bwchart.teamliquid.net and use that to get rid of the corrupted reps.
For what it's worth, I don't have any crashes. Are you guys using vista or XP or what?
Now my Starcraft crashes, even though I reverted back to the old BWChart. I get this: Error msg with big red cross: "This application has encountered a critical error: The file data is corrupt. Program: C:\Program Files\Starcraft\Starcraft.exe File: C:\Program Files\Starcraft\Stardat.mpq sound\Bullet\ZLuHit00.wav
I don't think people appreciate just how much JCA changed the BW scene with BWChart. I think of it along with Lost Temple and PGT and replays as the little things that really impacted the game today.
Well, i noticed that if i bring up an older version of bwchart(g), then bring up the new one (H) that H works fine. So i dunno if that helps you in debugging the problem, just thought I'd throw it out there. thanks again for your hard work~ <3
I'm sorry for the crashes. I have no clue why it does that on your machines. The code itself hasnt been changed that much. I just process the new "chat" action and added the APM+HotKeys chart, so I don't see why it would suddenly crash on all replays. The only difference is that I compile with a new version of Visual Studio. I'll investigate as soon as i can.
In any case, you can revert to the previous version and rebuild your replay database.

yea just imagine if MoC had came up with his cpu savior/LL/Hack detection etc stuff like 5 years ago.

I don't think people appreciate how much JCA changed *everything* with BWChart

cpu savior was written by r1ch
I thought He just made the fixer for the latest patch?
I dunno if its something I'm doing but I used to check my LastReplay.rep file after every game. And just double click the shortcut on my desktop to see the rep. Now when I do it , it keeps going to this lastrep that I had renamed after it was saved to lastrep.
Sweeet. Thanks alot and I have to agree as some said, bwchart really is one of the best thing that has ever happend to starcraft. Just think how bad hacking would be without it.

Doubleclick the player names bottom right to disable them one by one until you see the APM+hotkeys of the one you want. Fastest way is to disable them all and then enable only the player you want to see.
another request to update the "Engine" col on the "Replay Browser" tab. Also would it be possible for BWChart when auto-running a replay, to first run "patcher7x" (if needed) to update SC to the relevent patch before running a replay of a different version.
my last request is a check box in "Options|Watch Replay" to stop starcraft window from being activated and brought forward automaticly when autoloading a replay. eg: when you sitting on battle.net and want to load a rep so thats into !bwchart folder, you can use autoload and just disable the autokeys, but starcraft window will be activated and present the famous alt-tab battle.net glitch. so please, a way to disable auto-activate on load.
or a simple, load replay to !bwchart-folder without launching would suffice.
thanks for your fantastic tool jca and good to see you making updates again.
You know where the red marks are in BW chart when you load a rep and you can set it to show only 'other' commands and look for the chat. That's cool but,
There should be a function to show only chat actions imo. So you can easily read the chat log of a replay.
