Foreword:I'm a British (English) teacher who has been living in South Korea for about two years and a scattering of months now. I come from a video gaming background, but before I ventured over to korea I wasn't aware of StarCraft at all. My domain is more survival horror and RPGs.
I started out in late 2007 as a hardcore fan of Samsung Khan. It was through six months of immersing myself in the Korean eSports scene as a fan that I realized I wanted to try my hand at contributing to the foreign and Korean communities. I bought a DSLR camera and thanks to Lee Sungeun (Firebathero of Khan.) I was able to start having photo shoots.
I have worked free lance for companies such as Nexon (Kart Rider.) Dragonfly (Special Force.) and Fomos (StarCraft.) since then and continue to do volunteer eSports coverage for Teamliquid on a weekly basis.
I love organizing projects to bridge the gap between overseas fans and those living in Korea as well as the teams and players themselves. In the future I'm hoping to do many more photo shoots, maintain my two FanCafes and provide as much insight and fun photographs of Korean eSports as possible.
