Today I went to the first day of GCOS - a Korean cosplay festival held at COEX mall in Samsung. I was there from the opening at 10am and although it wasn't very busy at first soon there were lots of cosplayers and other things to photograph. I took over 100 usable photos so I'll be uploading them in batches with a special set for the 'Dungeon & Fighter Cosplay Show.' (Which as a total DF League nut made me so happy.)

I felt a little bit awkward going on my own and asking the cosplayers for photos, but everyone was really nice and welcoming.

This first batch mainly covers costumes and photography galleries. (Yes there will be girls eventually....)

P.S. I'm not looking for con-crit on these - since the event is over and I can't retake them. Thanks.

That's weird...it was all just pictures of cosplayers on the wall? No actual cosplayers?

Photos of photos doesn't seem to work very well here - can't see any of the details of the original photos, and not particularly artsy.

Please read the notes *sigh* I said there will be more batches with the actual cosplayers. These were just the first things I took photos of.

They're not supposed to be artsy - I just took them to illustrate that there was a gallery.

I would never do cosplay, but seeing others cosplay is quite amusing.

Thanks for the pictures, they're pretty cute!
I like seeing pretty girls cosplay.
But when it's old, fat guys cosplaying as Sailor Moon or something, then it becomes a bit of a problem.
