I finally managed to net myself a photo shoot with The Emperor today. I've been dying to photograph him and he's become something of my own personal Moby Dick in terms of who was my most anticipated shoot. I had the pleasure of working with him this afternoon after Winners' League at Yongsan's OGN studios. I was happily surprised when at the end of the shoot he told me I had done a good job in Korean - talk about something to raise my confidence

Thanks to the Head Coach of SKT1 for making this possible and Boxer himself for being patient despite the cold weather.

The title of the special lock-down style (over size edits) photo shoot this week is:

임요환 :초상화를 그리다 (Lim Yohwan: To Paint a Portrait.)

(The theme is simple and classic photos.)

Apologies for the terrible placement of the boxed out photo on the first page - I didn't think to take the right opening image so I had to hastily improvise. It's going to be replaced next Saturday with a more appropriate shot I've already decided upon.

BoxeR fighting~ =) NeverGG, just wondering, but how many pictures did you take at this photo shoot? It isn't a 1-1 ratio with the pictures that you've posted, is it? o.o

I just checked - I took about 200 photos during the actual events (covering most players present plus crowd shots etc.) Then I took about 40 shots of Boxer and picked out the ones which I think work the best. I did about five different poses with him and a few different angles for each pose.

Wow! This was just awesome!
I mean, the angles etc weren't anything out of the ordinary, but the lighting and the person in the shot totally makes up for everything!
