Lineup appearance: 1 Point* Game Win: 2 Points Game Loss: -1 Point 2-Game Streak Break: 1 Point** 3-Game Streak Break: 2 Points** Team Win: 1 Point*** DQ/Forfeit: -2 Point In this format the point for lineup appearance is irrelevant if you take a point off for losing a game. You could just take Lineup Appearance away, take away Game Loss and replace it with: "Finishing point" +1 point for finishing the other team off. | ||

I don't think it should be Win = 2 and Loss =1, which is what you're essentially proposing (and Finishing Win = 3). Since it's not easy to change your team during the round, your system would make it a lot more dependent on random coaching decisions. An appearance point is good because it offsets a possible loss, but your player still has the opportunity to get a win, possibly break a streak, and possibly go on to play more games. That's plenty of incentive to be in the lineup. The mark of doing well as a fantasy owner is picking not only players who will play, but players who will play and win. It's obvious that certain players on each team will play a lot, so there's no real variance in that, other than random luck. Oh I see what you're saying, just reorganizing the point values and calling it something different. I was confused because under your system Kal still gets no points. A plus for appearance points is in the breakdown for next round too, you want to see who gets how many appearances this past round. | ||
