oh and sometimes it fucks up my colors reaaaally hard
Yeah, the selections and sound don't always work correctly and if you're dragging the minimap the display lags behind because of the drawing method; its great for replays though

That's so cool, it'd be neat if kespa switched to a shot of this once in a while.
On a side note what the fuck was the terran thinking lol
Yeah it would be cool if we could see a zoomed out view of some of the big battles. I have no idea what that terran was thinking; I was just happy when I saw his entire army unsiege and move into the middle :D
Hmmm... I wonder why it lags for some and not for others. I tried again at a different resolution, and it worked just fine for about 8 minutes, and then suddenly had huge lag. Ah, well, I wouldn't use it for more than replays and screwing around, anyway.
The reason the mini maps is selecting 4 areas is because it has to draw 4 zones on the screen to keep the game from blacking out the squares of 640x480, if you hold down the map you will see a single square being drawn at 640x480 and the rest of the game will black out, also when you're building if you just continue to build as normal even though it shows the building off to the side it will still build normally. also no I did not make this I.D just for this, this is always my I.D.

Indeed. I'm guessing that would make it easier to manipulate the drawbuffer to create true high-res, instead of just quad-screen high-res that this hack does.

Instead of increasing the amount you see, what about using upscaling algorithms (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_art_scaling_algorithms) . hq3x is used by some SNES emulators and it performs anti-aliasing so it looks very nice IMO.
I have tried using dxwnd (see http://www.nynaeve.net/?p=52) but the starcraft profile doesn't let you do scaling, and when I used the generic one to stretch I have issues with the cursor.
did we even say it was a virus? we closed it because it was a slack opening post and there was already this thread relating to this particular topic. there was no mention of 'virus' anywhere by hot_bid/zatic.
also, get rid of the smug attitude or else you'll be out of here as fast as you came.

Yeah it's crazy cause then you're able to see troop movements and see exactly how the player is micro-ing. I'd love to see progaming take advantage of this.

I think it moves the screem and takes a screenshot each time. Then it displays the combination of those screens. Of course a few additional fixes are necessary to display the interface and the selection rect correctly. On the minimap you can see how the screen jumps.

try it if u dont believe me. i did not make this nor take credit for it.
say thanks after so the mods dont cry that its a virus.
The fact that you keep saying this file has no virus, despite no one accusing it of such, makes it all the more suspicious. I think at least 4 of your posts about this file in it somewhere said it's not a virus. No one said it was.
And if you're going to introduce a new program, you should post more about it. That's probably why your original OP got closed.
i shall take that into account next time. also its hosted on my isps webspace with my username on there. not the brightest idea of someone trying to spread malware.
