Starcraft.exe battle.snp standard.snp storm.dll bnupdate.exe patch_rt.mpq
Presumably you'd need to replace these (not just Starcraft.exe) with their 1.15.3 equivalents to revert. Aw

Wait, pros don't have backup of the single tiny program they depend on to make a living?
I thought my neighbour was crazy last night when she asked how to convert .doc to .pdf 3am the night before she delivered her law school final thesis o_O
I have not upgraded and have a copy or two of my sc folder, but I'm at work so others can probably help out faster.

god thanks they fixed it!

THIS IS THE BEST THING SINCE PIZZA!
They actually fixed mineral hack and added a /reply function! hallelujah!
+ I get to LOL at replays where whiny bitches make hack accusations. SPLENDID!

I got serious lag everywhere in B.net now. Not just in games which is like a .3 second delay, I get it just looking at people's profiles- the interface loads slowly and kinda goes in chunks. Its really laggy T_T/

ok nvm this patch full of fail

If they fix the lagging problem everyone seems to be having this patch will be pretty good.

no lag here only slight delay in the interfaces
and oh, yesterday's replays dont work anymore +_+

There are still no posts in the battle.net forums about the lag issue that I see 60 people here complaining about. If you don't post it on their forums, they don't know there is a problem.
The technical support forum is here: http://forums.battle.net/board.html?forumId=12014&sid=3000
I suggest someone who is having problems starts a thread describing the lag situation, then EVERYONE else who is having the same issue reply to that post. It could be the difference between it being fixed in a couple days or it being fixed in a couple months. Right now the only threads about the patch mention a minor bug that doesn't affect gameplay and user-side installation issues. That means Blizzard thinks their patch is fine.

Oh man, so now I should rather stick to good old "gg" at the end of the game and not improvise too much, even when I am pissed

wow AMAZING patch.
im so happy right now

"Starcraft now only uses as much CPU as it needs to run smoothly."
my sc definetly does not run smoothly after the patch.. its like playing with 10hz on my monitor. anyone else who have similar problems?

Getting low CPU consumption right while using GetTickCount isn't easy, and it seems like blizzard made some mistake. It took R1CH several versions of his CPU-Savior to get it to work without any lag.

yeah same thing for me!

Will this make ANYONE play on bnet instead of ICC? nah.
Blizzard needs to either: - stop producing patches completely and let us know we are on our own.
or: - fix the damn game whenever something needs to be fixed so we can actually rely on them.
The way they are doing it now, by releasing a patch every 6 months or so, they are preventing the community to take things in its own hands and are giving us false hope we can count on them.
If you ask me, all this patch did is steal a weak or two of playing ICCup.
Anyone willing to enlighten me on what's so swiiiit about this patch?
If they did the latency thing, it would have been HUGE.
