When I enter bnet, it hangs at "Connecting to fastest server" without even saying anything about an update. I downloaded the patch manually, but then apparently there's a problem with a checksum in staredit.exe that prevents me from applying it. My version of Starcraft is the digital download offered from the Blizzard online store, which I think may play a part here. Anyone got any ideas? | ||

I did read through it, but after trying all the methods which I saw posted (uninstall/reinstall, manually patch, redownload if there's no CD, use Chaos while updating), none of them worked. EDIT: As it turns out, I did miss a thread on page 3. Sorry about that. There's a couple more things to try there which I'll check out. | ||
