+ Show Spoiler + Once upon a time there was a faggot, no one cared what his name was or is. The faggot died, he got run over by a red truck or a meteor crashed unto him. You see, it doesn’t matter how the faggot died, what matters is his death and not how it occurred, how he lived didn’t matter, what mattered it that he lived. You see some things are just fated, some things cannot be changed like birds flying, dogs dying, people fucking, and savior winning. That is the rhythm of life and the poetry of fate. You cannot change the events, but how the events occur change, you see that is fate and mutability intertwining. I am destined to win a CJ T-shirt, it doesn’t matter how it happens but the fact it will happen will make it happen. I had a little chit chat with God about it and he came to the same conclusion, granted he is a busy man, but he agreed to the proposal and said Son you will win the CJ T-shirt because you are gosu. I was engulfed with happiness and light, but then I asked him what if those guys at TL don’t want to give me the shirt. He replied to me saying, I shall thee engulf them with eternal damnation, you saw what I did to that faggot yes? And I replied ye. He replied I will not smash them with a Red TrucK, but I will let optimus Prime unleash his ultimate fury on the fools if they don’t give you the T-Shirt. Well then I asked why can’t you give me the T-Shirt and he replied, I like doing things in style son. I will blind Ye mortal fools at TL and make this essay a miracle essay that will win you the T-Shirt. It is now your inevitable destiny to win the T-Shirt. You Shall Become now GoSu with the t-shirt, and I was grateful and gosu forever. With the Shirt I Shall be bestowed upon the Light of the true Savior. With the powers of the CJ T-Shirt I shall Succeed Ma Jae Yoon and become the true heir to the zerg. Julyzerg and Jaedong are just faggots that made a pact with Satan, they shall be dealt with later once I attain the light. “Down at the cross where my Savior died, Down where for cleansing from sin I cried, There to my heart was the blood applied; Glory to His Name!”

+ Show Spoiler + It was April 2006. It had been over a year since I had watched a professional game of Starcraft. My hero, the Mantoss, up against a no-name Zerg named Savior in the Pringles MSL. At the time I knew Reach was weak in his PvZ but I was confident that he would emerge victorious. After all, it WAS some no-name Zerg. The game started and Savior took down Reach’s natural Nexus within minutes. I shrugged it off as a lucky move and still believed Reach would win. Time passed by in a blur and my hero was crumbling in front of me. Savior’s moves were perfect: units were at the right place at the right time, harassment was flawless, and his game sense was fantastic. At the time I believed that the Starcraft greats such as Boxer, Reach, Yellow, iloveoov, Julyzerg, would never die and all the no-names had to suffer being .. well, no-names. I was shocked at somebody unknown to me was dismantling a Protoss god with such grace and simplicity. Savior used Ensnare and Broodlings to catch Shuttles and snipe Templars, the first I had ever seen them used so effectively against Protoss. My love for Savior increased as he pranced through the Pringles MSL like it was a 3v3 noobfest on Fastest. Then came the finals, the only one thus far that has kept me at my computer watching intently. The God of Protoss, Nal_rA against my new love, Savior. Easily and effortlessly, I saw my new love tear through the God of Protoss like tissue paper. It was, to say the least, terrifying and awe-inspiring at the same time. I thought that Savior was THE player to watch forever, the one that would usher in a new Boxer-esque era of outstanding skills and indomitable play. And now back to the present. I see my hero a shadow of his former self. After his crippling loss to FireBatHero in GOM2 and his continuing downward spiral, it’s heartbreaking to see a person who was at the top of his game what seemed like yesterday become toppled almost effortlessly by a weirdo who enjoys dancing like a maniac when he wins and crying like a child when he loses. It is sad to see a person who was an unstoppable force, the one who would be your anchor in Liquibet, the one you would always count on to win, become just another player in the fast-paced drama that is professional Starcraft. Every so often I go on YouTube and I watch Savior’s golden days, the great year of 2006 and his dominance, and my heart breaks a little inside. Edit: Fixed because indentations weren't working -_- Edit2: Damn, now that I submitted I feel mad nervous

+ Show Spoiler + I watch intently for a barracks landing At five AM, through eyes with slumber glazed, A four-pool at a crucial series standing Or yet another fatal comsat razed... To no avail. The hero's frenzied hands Convey a bitter, growing desperation. He flails and fails, I see with trepidation, Before his younger foe's precise commands. The night gives way, the sky is gray. I pray Their starry craft may rise again to art, Or, if the future promises dismay, They'll build a pylon heart to warm my heart. I trudge to work bereft of sleep, and yet A CJ match shall never bring regret. The games mentioned in the first stanza are from early 2007. Just make a 2 minute video of yourself crying about not having time to write anything, in the form of "Leave Britney Alone." I'm sure it'll get a few high ranks by the judges. Plus, it'll only take 2 minutes to make. I seriously wish I had video recording capabilities to add a submission to my essay. Unfortunately I'm poor, and you can't pirate a camcorder.

+ Show Spoiler + Starcraft Progaming The CJ shirt. Normally, people would see this as just any other shirt that someone would wear but this is not the case for this community. We at Teamliquid have a strong diverse community, ranging from noobs to progamers like Idra, and having people from different cultures all around the world. When I first got into Starcraft, I searched “starcraft” on youtube and just wanted to see some cool videos. I saw Boxer’s perfect scv rush against Yellow. That sure was awesome, but I yearned for a dominant zerg player. Sure Yellow was good, but I wanted to see a zerg demolish every opponent he faced, one after another. Soon enough, I found sAviOr videos. His play was astonishing. The units came from nowhere as he kept macroing from his 3 hatch build. The muta micro was any terran’s nightmare. The intense defiler micro saved his base from pushes one after another. This player soon became my favorite zerg. Now, what’s amazing is why I even got into Starcraft. Literally no one I knew played it, except my cousins four years back. There wasn’t anyone to talk about sAviOr’s loss against FBH and the humiliating ceremony that followed. No one would understand the jibberish of macro, micro, and APM. I realize that I got into Starcraft because of its precise and strategical gameplay. I admired the wit, dexterity, and determination that these gamers needed to become champions of Starcraft. I want this shirt because I feel it would spread the word of Starcraft to others unaware of its existence. If we get a bigger foreign fan base, it would allow more foreign progamers to go to Korea and learn from the true masters of the game. This garment would show others that they are not alone in the Starcraft universe. Besides the worlds of Char, Aiur, Mar Sara, and the other Starcraft planets, Earth is still battling it out as these three unique yet balanced races. Come forth, and join the Swarm, the Conclave, or the Confederacy, they’re all waiting for anyone willing to lead their army.
