It's not like there's a big difference in that aspect. All the korean did was stim, he didn't walk under mutas or anything to prevent escape or w/e, so it was just very very bad.

It was a mistake. D+ players can control better than that, but they can also make mistakes like that, and will do so much more frequently. I guess you could say that you find it shocking that such high level players would make such mistakes and you'd have a perfectly valid point, but it happens

However, in the game it happened twice (the losing of mutas from attack move or something, for a total of like, 8 mutas lost...), and the mutalisk micro he demonstrated was below average at best.

Im pretty sure if those d+ players were playing sea.really there muta micro would go to crap too because of nerves. And usually when you play someone a lot better than you, the better players find a lot of holes in your play that can really throw you off and its hard to regain your composure, especially since korean terrans multitask really well where it feels like they're all over the place. And iirc sea.really's build was the fast +1 weap which counters 3 hatch muta really well.

Yah, but you still shouldn't lose 8 mutas for nothing like that, although I've said this 5 times in the last posts so I might as well not even post anymore, since everyone is saying the same thing. seriously leaving mutas alone for 10 seconds to get owned by some marines? unheard of. k since i keep saying the same thing, i wont argue anymore, bai

I had no intention of arguing with you at all. Its hard to judge someone's muta micro with just a few games. Yeah i agree its pretty bad for a top foreigner to leave his mutas idle twice and lose a lot of them but I've seen zerg pros like zero sometimes leave his mutas idle for a few second and lose them all but i also see him like kill leta with 2 hatch muta microing 2 groups of mutas perfectly. Nerves can make anything happen like having your headphones backward^^

If it was just purely muta micro, I don't think that zerg player would had messed up like that. A D player would do even worse since they have to muta micro while managing their base. Even in Starleagues, player like July accidently threw away a lot of mutalisk for what seems like no reason.

Machine has a good muta micro, he's playing a really ksilled player so he looks like bad... + stress
Any C vs D player will look like pro muta micro but it's all about pressure .. etc
Machine prolly beat 90% of all of you with his "poor micro muta"

These vods are awesome, tx. Also great to have Daniel Lee there, he's very funny ànd very knowledgeable which is awesome to hear.

I think his knowledge is above the average commentator but below good players.
If his job was to notice flaws in a players game and help them improve it. Or notice map characteristics and ideas on a few things to try on it then a very deep knowledge of the game isn't as important (I could be wrong of course). Knowing your player and his weakness and how to improve them is what the coaches primary role is. If a player studys bw all day long and never understands the technical nature of the game, then I imagine we won't see them in a starleague any time soon...... except for rock!

I'm sure he would but that's not really the point since he's playing pros and not D players.
No foreigner is going to win with straight up play so I think it's a valid criticism when foreigners try to 3 hatch muta vs a pro. He's going to shut it down and you are instantly behind/dead.
I honestly think the zergs would fare better if the mutalisk button was greyed out. They could get lucky with some fast lurk cheese or drop play, something distinctly "foreign" instead of trying to play like a pro but with half the skill. They need an eco advantage if they want to win and using a build that absolutely requires you harrass and slow down the terran and not having any chance of actually doing that because they are so good, is kind of a bad game plan.

Machine's mutas were a joke, like daniel lee said might as well not make any and go straight to lurkers lololol
G5 was just a wtfzor? like daniel lee said "you dont do that against progama, who do u think i am?"
Daniel lee explains it all too good ^^ i like him

do you disagree? It's nothing against foreigners I just think with 12 hours a day they are way too refined. I think if the pro wants to win he will, 10 times out of 10, unless the foreigner goes out of the box
