I'm hearing an increasing amount of people stating that Artosis is agreeing to much with Daniel Lee. I think some of this is a bit unavoidable given the fact that Daniel Lee just knows more and has a very strong personality. Despite this I often wonder why some people prefer to hear two people argue and disagree over rubbish rather than agree. Every show you watch you have people disagreeing over some contrived rubbish. It's like the producers know people like conflict and tell the commentators to create some kind of "The View" like dynamic simply because it's in vogue.

Perhaps Artosis should talk with Daniel about the fact that he agrees to much with him, and decide they want to develop some kind of Siskel & Ebert dynamic where both will adopt diametrically opposed inane positions simply for the sake of discourse and ratings.

Artosis could also take a page from the gymnastics caster trio of Tim Daggett, Elfi Schlegel, and Al Trautwig. Tim and Elfi are past pros, while Al plays the outsider depending on Tim's and Elfi's often flawed commentary for guidance, while dealing with the personal stories of the gymnasts lives.

Hell, seems people can't appreciate a good thing, and prefer to listen to a sexy voice, totally biased, and inaccurate commentary, like we already have in droves on some websites.

What is there for Artosis to disagree with? Things like I would like to see Machine get bunkered rush twice could be something to disagree with but with strategical comments, Daniel Lee is spot on correct.

well at least Daniel lee is as entertaining and informative as ever... too bad the games were terribly one-sided. really, really bad. i mean, how many more of these is daniel lee going to want to do if the game is over every time by 10 minutes? i know he don't expect the foreigners to win a majority of the games, or even any of them, but i really hope that more people other than strelok show a good game.

edit: one thing that i thought, and i'm sure that this has occurred to you and daniel lee as well, artosis, is this: if you two have already watched the game or replay before making this vod, for the sake of viewer interest, maybe you should consider only commentating on and providing the games that are good or close. i know that means you and daniel lee will probably have to sift through a lot more games, and that getting pros to take time off their schedules to play isn't easy, but i'd really love to see daniel lee comment on a foreigner's play in a close game, rather than listen to his, admittedly good-natured, sarcasm about the level of play. i'll still keep watching even if every vod is a 10-minute rape, but, like everyone, i'm hoping for a great game.

Attackofthezerg i actually was praising people earlier but I thoght g5's performance both games was pretty sad... i have only watched the protoss games so far but pretty sure he played the worst out of all of the protoss. Even jf losing in 11 minutes had some excellent reaver micro on the ramp vs kal, i didnt see anything remotely like a positive in g5's play. i just posted that cause i feel bad, i think those two showings might of ruined a chance he had to maybe get a test for a pro team. but attackofthezerg ill be sure to consult you before i state my own fucking opinons in an open forum? does that sound ok to you stalin?

qft, what's the point of randomly disagreeing just for the sake of disagreeing? The commentary is very good all around tbh, and Daniel Lee gives awesome insights into the South Korean scene.

For me, personally, it's not the fact that he agrees. It's the fact he always says something needless like "I gotta agree with you there" or "Yeah, you're absolutely right about that". And I don't think it's a big enough thing to drag the commentary down.

I think Artosis is doing a great job, but he just isn't as captivating as Tasteless or Daniel Lee. I like a commentator that can make me laugh as well as enhance the viewing of the game. His technical knowledge is very high though, and I enjoy listening.

I think it's better for every commentator to have its own role and style. By the way I'd rather prefer a commentator that focuses all the time on the strategy and the players than one who jokes too much. I'm not too much of a fan of jokes though, and when I'm watching Starcraft I just like to focus on the indepth of the game rather than hearing a semi-fun almost obvious joke on the units.

I think it's pretty obvious that Artosis is showing respect to SUPERDAN in the commentaries and that is fine with me. Respect your elders.

Agreed. I'm watching these vods to see if I can pick up tips and tricks from Artosis and Daniel Lee first and entertainment second.

Hmm, I never said that D+ players were better than foreigners... I said that I know some D's / D+'s with better muta micro from what I've seen from these top foreigners, with the exceptions of a few. Although I have a small sample size, I've been kind of disgusted by the mutalisk micro seen by the foreigners. Of course you are right about less holes that the Koreans leave open - but you still should not be running 9 mutas into marines attack move and losing 5 of them before realizing you have to move them...

i imagine it was just a mistake, probably caused by nerves. im pretty sure machine has better muta micro than that, especially since a few of the top americans have mentioned that his zvt is supposedly among the best in the states right now

Also you have to take into consideration a korean progamers micro is so much more crisp and precise and terran's have practise all day long vs zerg's with totally sick muta control.
