There is interaction between the players. One makes a lesser person play worse using your own skill. I am pretty sure a C zerg can own up some random D- terran with better muta micro. But that's not a fair comparison, obviously. | ||

When you do a mutalisk build and it isn't doing damage, it begins to make you nervous, ESP. a two hat mutabuild , so you begin to try and catch up on macro , by doing it perfectly, the problem is trying to think yourself out of a hole leads to laspes in reaction time. Its a downward spiral effect. There are 2 maybe 3 zergs in the world showing good ZvT against pro terrans (luxury,jaedong,thezerg) everybody else has been struggling for over a year .... you think non-koreans using outdated 3 hat muta builds or 2 hat muta builds have a chance ... LoL. Even luxury uses overpool >3 hat muta EVERY game now, and jaedong is back to variations of his original 2 hat builds. TheZerg, just expos before lair is finished, and somehow pulls it off ^^;;. notforu, dinot, and xiaoxi muta harass better than mondragon imo also seeing some reps on )tot(gosia his muta micro is not that bad either midian too | ||

"notforu, dinot, and xiaoxi " Sorry dinot's muta micro isn't his greatest asset. Notforu, I wouldn't know. xiaoxi doesn't have amazing muta micro. Midian is a good player, but his mutas look awesome when he plays with average/good players, while mondragons looks good vs much higher level of competition. Look at his ZvT's (the few he played) on longinus from TSL.... Fucking brutal. | ||

There is the illusion that foreigners are good at strategy and weak at mechanics, but really it's both weaker mechanics and bad strategies. Super Daniel pointed out many time how bad foreigner's decision in strategies are. These VODs are great. I'm at awe seeing the skill gap. | ||

Um doesnt that prove also that mondragon's muta control in his games on tsl werent against high level players? Im just saying mondragon has good muta control but i dont think hes the best cause theres several other foreigners with good muta micro | ||

I can only speak for myself, but the hands down biggest reason for the suckage was 1) playing vs a MSL champion, 2) NERVES. I think you guys completely forgot the human factor in all of this; it's a once in a life time chance to play vs a progamer, you know you're playing someone ridiculousy good, you know there's going to be a commentary done by Daniel Lee and Artosis, and you know that half of the foreign scene is following, ready to come with unconstructive and harsh criticism at your every mistake. First shoutcasted game watched by a broad audience, first showmatch vs a progamer, this is the situation of most spirit games; put yourself in their position, would you play your best easily, and refrain from making any mistakes? If not, perhaps you shouldn't make bold statements such as "I have better micro than them" or "x y z sucks, look at him/her/it getting owned lolol!!". | ||
