Yes, this is a plugin for ChaosLauncher, so you'll need to install that first.

Good job i'll porably never use it but hell people will always nice haveing people benefit the sc community ^-^

Great work! I got an error (game crashed) with the plugin RepWithTxt enabled, but worked fine after disabling that. This opens up so many possibilities, I hope commentators out there will make use of this terrific possibility Again, GREAT job!

I'm having a bit of a problem with lag while recording, once I hit the End Recording hotkey it clears up totally though. Is this my computer being slow or a problem I have with settings? The message that pops up in the top left for the Player and Recorder are both flashing quickly, is that normal?
Also, while the Player seems to be working perfectly for me I can't hear any commentary that I make myself. I think the problem is with my mic, but I'm not totally sure.
I just got Chaos Launcher, so is there any special option or something like that I need to do before I can get RWA working?
Thanks for making the plugin, I can't wait to start using it.

Thanks for making the plugin, I can't wait to start using it. If you're getting lag, that is probably because of a slow computer. The flashing is a side-effect of me drawing messages without hooking starcraft functions, so thats normal.
The Recorder automatically uses your default recording device, so try using windows sound recorder, and if it works there, it'll work in the recorder (you can change your default recording device within volume control, btw)

Also, make sure when you go to play the file, you play the new one, with RWA appended to the beginning of the filename, and that you've turned RWA Player on, and Recorder off :O
PS: My computer lags also, but it also lags if I try to record on FPVod.

I finally got it working right, thanks a lot for your help. The lag was still a bit of a problem, but I think that using the Windowed Mode plug-in makes it run fine.

Switching between Player and Recorder makes a lot of sense, thanks. I was getting a lot of RWA_RWA_ files, and now I don't have to worry about all that annoying clutter.

I was about to post here asking why you didn't use Ogg Vorbis, then I thought I'd download it first just to see what it did use. Consider me pleasantly surprised!
Just gave it a quick test, the TextOut kills my poor laptop CPU and introduces some input lag. After exiting BW from the menu during a replay, the audio continued for 1-2 secs with CPU maxed at 100% and pretty big mouse lag. Other than that seems to work great!

can this be used on iccup? if not will we be able to use it there in the future

this seems so far so good.
:D

I exited sc, and the audio is still playing ?
I was using windowMode of SC though.

Yeah, I'm working on reducing CPU usage (and I seem to have made the TextOut a little less lag-inducing right now). Working out the bugs in all of that (mostly in the Player now, the Recorder seems to be working fine for the most part, but I'm working on reducing its CPU usage as well). Not quite sure what to do about the continued audio playback on quit, as the audio data is already sent and I can't really do much to stop it.

Dude thanks! Wow I can't wait to try this out (for fun =])

Just updated both plugins.
Player: - Fixed syncing issues and made autosync actually work (it was messed up before thanks to a stupid coding mistake, don't ask ) - Made its performance a bit better. - Fixed syncing in general to work better. - Made it so you can change speeds while watching the RWA, and have it pause and unpause automatically when you do so (and resync, obviously)
Recorder: - Fixed some issues with filename generation when filenames got longer than the offline limit - Enhanced the performance a bit.
Edit: And if you guys are getting the bug where it doesn't create the RWA file, please post the exact details here. (Details being the original replay's filename (and preferrably full path to it), how you went about ending the commentary (did you press the hotkey, close the window, etc.), and about how long your commentary was). Thank you!

Been looking forward to seeing RWA commentaries for awhile. Thanks tech27 + company!
