To anyone recording an RWA: make sure you use the 'end recording' hotkey you set once you're done recording. The game will *not* automatically stop recording once the game finishes (That's an intended feature).

Made a couple more updates concerning the Text-drawing, but I haven't uploaded them yet. I'm working on tweaking the file format atm, and once I have that done I'll probably upload the new updates.

At that point I should also be releasing RWAUtils (a seperate program that will allow you to split and join audio from/to replays)

Doesn't work for me

first i launched it with both recording and playback plugin ticked, and i heard 2 seconds of "allright.." then sc crashed

unchecked recording plugin, and i hear nothing, but no crash

also got errors "line 217" unhandled exception or something?

i am using chaoslauncher

ok so i just tried making a RWA two times, neither time worked. any advice? first time offline, second time online, both times renamed the replay with RWA_ at the beginning. Both times the file had no audio file. I cant seem to see it on desktop in Documents, or chaoslauncher folder. Any advice would be great i use windows vista.

The audio file should be embedded in the replay. If it isn't (IE: if it doesn't play with RWARecorder) then there might an issue with the program finding where it put the audio file. So if thats the case, then let me know and I'll work on fixing it. If thats the case though, the you should be able to find a temporary ogg file containing the audio data inside the directory containing your ChaosLauncher plugins.

Just updated both plugins. Added another error message to the player in case you give it a replay with an empty ogg file in it. Also improved the performance a bit more in both. Still want to redo the file format a bit (which result in no difference to the end user but will make the plugin more compatible with other replay modifications) but unfortunately I have finals for the next 6 days, so I probably won't have much time til after that. So don't expect many updates for the next few days, with the exception of small bugfixes.

Seems to still have some sync issues. The Rage/Xeo commentary ( http://student.kuleuven.be/~s0194386/RWA-SlidervsArtosis1.rep ) was about 10 seconds ahead of the replay by the end. Resync button didn't seem to have much of an effect.

I noticed that as well, but I believe that is because they were using ventrilo to record it, rather than RWARecorder. (One of them also noted that they paused at one point, so that could be the cause of the desync). Every other RWA I've watched seems to sync correctly (Although it gets a tad bit offsync and auto-resyncs every 5 minutes or so, not quite sure why it does that).
