I'm half trolling in the thread anyway. I do agree he should've made a statement, but I do feel like people are very quick to keep him cancelled as well, as far as I know he didnt lay his hands on anybody. He still offended them with his words and he's definitely a creep/pervert, but I think he should be allowed back. Maybe he can come out and make a statement that he learned from his mistakes. This is pretty much what I think as well. Let’s say for arguments sake he never technically broke the law with his actions. Still, why would you want to be associated with someone whose ethics and morals are so deranged? Imagine if this rapid stuff went unchecked or ignored, what would have happened? | ||

Rus_brain this is not an attack on you or the support you give to the scene. It s entirely understandable you didn't know about all rapid s issues. And now he s there so you have to live with it this once. However this needs to be a one off, you and ZZZero need to be clear about it. Once again it s ok you didn't know, I didn't know the full extent either. But rapid cannot be allowed back into the scene after this. You should make that statement, it will not look poorly on you. We already have a small community we cannot in good conscience have those types of people be given a platform like this | ||

Then it came out he wasn't just a shitty caster, but a horrible human, sending dick pics to underage girls and leveraging his underserved position for all sorts of similar things. AND NOW HE IS BACK!? I stopped watching his casting entirely last time before all his personal behavior came to light, and I'm going to do it again. | ||

Also noticing that the "defense" going on here by Rus_Brain (idk if we should consider him the actual organiser of the event, considering the funding/location/posts in this thread?) are mostly just wannabe-edgy "no you" replies, instead of actually owning up and defending the choice to bring back Rapid. Especially interesting considering ZZZero's statement to exclude him until his name would be cleared. As has been pointed out, any such clearup has atleast not been something which the community has seen in public. | ||
