3min/5min rule is abused a lot recently, especially by player "KeKe^^", think I had like 3 or 4 leaves from him in early game due to not so good development within first minutes. But also others do it.

I know this discussion had been here before, but it's really annoying these days.

Edit (20:15 cet): Just happened again, he leaves precisely at 2:59 in the game after a failed idk, 5 or 6 pool on 11 vs 12 pos

Maybe have a small point penalty for first person leaving in 1-3 min range. Before 1 min leaves are often because of lag / disconnects etc. But 1-3min it' s usually somebody trying to game system.

I had a terrible day yesterday. Someone sabotaged my electric bike by cutting of the mini computer, So its no longer functional. After that I felt like relaxing with some bgh mmr bot. Well it went down like this. Player schinkenwurst threathen to kill Yes_You_Won but didnt. Yes_You_Won attacked schinkenwurst some minutes later. They were both my team mates and we ended up losing a 55 minutes game. Game was played 2021-08-04 23:43. Most people have good manners. Lets remember that.

"[0 4]" means the player slots he's allied with, he changed alliance to only player slots 0 and 4, being players Anolo and Yes_you_won (himself).

Joins the games, leaves after start, joins the next one, writes down some middle finger smileys, next game same shit. 4 in a row now.

For those who ask to ban everyone everywhere:

1. So far there is only one rule for banning (I hope) - team-killing. There's a good reason for that - you can't prevent it in-game.
2. If You get offended easily then there's some ancient forgotten option since dawn of bnet called "ignore [username]".
3. If someone annoys you anyway then wait for the other game and don't play with that player. If you think others waste your time by leaving, etc. then let me remind you that you play computer games, so your time is not that valuable.
4. Don't hassle bot admin, he probably spends a lot of time on this project already to not be bothered with analyzing every "please-ban-him" post. Which brings us to the last point:
5. If you get team-killed just post the link to the replay here, just like KeKe did. It will be sufficient evidence and easy to check fast for bot admin.

No there is bans for other stuff too like intentionally screw up games and getting away without penalty.

Boosting MMR by throwing on the other side.

Best would be a command like !report reason (ingame) which makes admin get it and check it at once, maybe even automating the process for unallies.

There is no strategy where you intentionally unally your own team. There is vs enemy team though, like lurkers or mines.

Ally mine is banned in tournaments but this isnt a tournament.

Good idea in principle, but I'd fear that it will be used overzealously.

Maybe I'm paranoid, or just the level of players I'm playing with at the minute, but it really seems like some way through the game they go afk. I've noticed it with a few players, maybe becuase the boosting stuff that was mentioned a few pages back. It's probably nothing but I do notice it a lot.

I've banned Yes_you_won. As for automated bans - the replay decoding framework that I use doesn't really decode Allied commands. I see them but don't really know what they mean. Maybe Dakota Fanning can explain those to me. If I were able to figure this one out, I might be able to mark the first ally breaker in a game, and that would make banning easier.

I've described in my previous post above. I don't know the output of SCRChart, but my replay parser screp (also used by repmastered.app) lists the slots (slot IDs) the player is allied with. Also gives the flag whether Allied victory is checked. Note that screp has a CLI release: you can pass a replay to it, and it gives you back the commands in JSON format. It's open source and has an API, you can use it as a replay parser lib too.

If you're interested in the meaning of raw (binary data) stored in replay: there are 2 bits for each slot, 0x00: not allied, 0x01: allied, 0x02: allied victory.

I gotta say this is quite fun, much more fun than playing vs a stacked home team with 2 random allies.

I've played about 40 games now and I found that players under 1100~1200mmr generally are not very reliable allies. The auto balancing is really a pain if you get 2 E/F rank allies vs 3x B rank for example. At that point it is basically 1v3. I honestly feel like dodging those matches by now, the only reason I haven't so far is so you can get better data.

In retrospect I do enjoy playing with D~C rank allies vs B~A, because I can usually boss them around I can advise and command them and have a bit more control of the game outcome. It gives you that same feel of fighting a stacked home team with 2 random allies except now your allies are actually willing to listen to you simply because you carry the stamp of a higher rank. I find that kind of ironic. Anyway, it has been a fun experience. Thank you for running this.

The 5 minute rule seems fair, although some games can be over in about 4 minutes, this is mostly true for the 11 vs 12 case. Luckily I haven't noticed any people abusing the timer rules yet (but then again I only became aware of this rule after I had played the majority of my games).

shit like that happens quite frequently in the last time.

Just after one is out from other team, guy from own team leaves, it ends up being 2v2 and losing in the end, which would be 100% win 3v2. I don't get what's wrong in some people's brains - but well, when I look at the whole world in the last 2 years, it's quite the same >_<

can you please use a proper map version with tank drops patched out? the high ground behind the mineral line should not exist and the only race that can take advantage of it is terran. a toss templar runs out of energy, dropping a lurker is not very effective, but somehow terrans simply get the option to get free wins.

it is ridiculous you can win games with one tank.
in a proper competitive environment this should not be possible.

yes its bgh, its never fully competitive, but imagine zergs being able to win with one lurker or toss being able to win with one reaver. you can micro against those units, but you cant do anything against tank drop unless you explicitly prepared for it.

tank drops are completely imbalanced

If you see that the terran guy walled in and that he doesn't move out with any vultures, then you should explicitly prepare for it if you are in one of the droppable locations. Personally, if I'm protoss, I'd rather face a terran who goes for tank drop than a terran who goes 3 fac vulture and if I'm zerg I'd rather face a tank drop than bio.
