So you can see the entire map without fog of war and shroud of darkness. You can see the opponent's spawn but only outlines/tracking of buildings and units? | ||

I think it's a lot harder to catch cheaters on custom maps, as pretty much anything is possible through the editor(?). | ||

But if it's a map thing, couldn't Blizzard check the signature/hash (MD5/SHA-1) of the map for 1 player, and compare it to the original signature of the map. for example: Fighting Spirit MD5 is always=2FD0919F83BFD647EE853F8FA3A12614 BWAPI even has a built-in function for that. | ||

Moataz, we use the name 'map hack' for a specific program that allows players to see through the fog of war, on the entire map, from the first second the game starts. Like typing 'black sheep wall' in single player. It's a hack, because people should obviously not be having this advantage on ladder, and because you need a third party program injecting stuff into memory, or something like that, to get the desired effect. You plugging your own CoachAI here is pretty irrelevant and not what people here mean by maphack. | ||

FYI, it is pretty relevant, the CoachAI (beside the pic I posted) allows players to see through the dark/fog, on the entire map (but not the mini-map), from the first second the game starts. Like typing 'black sheep wall' in single player, you can even see the exact destination the human-enemy-units are heading to, what orders their units are assigned to do and more. but we can't call this a map hack, can we ? The problem is that the less experienced players, calls everything a map hack. | ||

If its the old flying drone its simple. Set drone to build extractor, shift-queue destination after. When hes floating above the Gas you use up all the money so Extractor isnt built and the shift-queue destination is used meanwhile being in float-state. This bug IIRC is fixed since patch 1.10 (non-RM). If you say its working now the patches must have been reversed or there is a new way of doing it. | ||
