People are over reacting. Do you really think blizzard will refuse to change the UI to differentiate melee and non melee game types when we ask for it? L2 is so special to you, you cant even countenance the thought of L1? Theres no one whos willing to modify a launcher to make it compatible anyway?

Bit excessive to be boycotting a patch over minor UI issues that appeared during PTR. Have some sense of proportion people.

Lots of complaints about the chat channel, but I think it looks fine. Looks no worse than the old one imo, but then again I don't hang out in chat channels. Sounds like there are bugs though that I don't see getting fixed by tomorrow.

I don't like anything about this new patch. Why the hell Blizz thinks he can do whatever he wants without asking us. We never asked to change those things lol. At least they should give some choice to choose old/new menu. Also when you wanna build something the shadow of building looks different. APM meter looks like joke with that position. Sigh...

That's what they want people to think. I've never seen a public beta game that sucked become a good game afterwards. Maybe this will be the first one, who knows. Only the people in the company actually know how much work was put into the PTR, how many of those problems are unintentional and how much more work they're willing to put afterwards. The black bg on text may be related to the no UTF-8 fonts, some of the lobby issues are obviously not intentional, others not so much

APM and game timer are very huge. It looks like if it popped from nowhere (especially on terran UI). Maybe it will look better in BW remastered with 16 ratio.

Anyone else test out campaign. I played a mission and felt the units weren't to responsive. Time to play the same mission on the standard build. The campaign ui/text is slick though.

how long did blizzard take to integrate chat channels in bnet 0.2 for sc2?
why do we have to tell blizzard to differentiate between melee and non-melee games, when it was differentiated for like 19 years? its a no brainer, but somebody at blizzard thought it was a good idea to change that.
in case you have never played L1, L1 with a lower latency compared to L2 means that the connection between both players needs to be "way better" compared to L2 in order for the game to not lag, which is why even on fish between koreans only, L1 was very rarely played.
whats wrong with boycotting a patch when we have to wait for a generous 3rd party launcher maker to fix all the problems blizzard conjured out of thin air.
yesterday i didnt even knew what PTR was, but its just an excuse to say "we are beta, please give us time and ignore all problems"

is it lag to the server or lag ingame?
i thought game is still p2p and "ignores" where the server is located since it only depends on connection between the people, and then the difference between L1 and L2 is pretty big.
or did they change the p2p?

Are you in windowed fullscreen? Its preset to that for some reason...

everything totally responsive for me in fullscreen mode, no lag either. But im in ontario so.
