Sudden problem with hosting (6112 opened)

Hi TL community,

It's been a while since I posted, but strange things seem to be happening with Iccup and nobody seems to be posting about it, so perhaps it's just on my end : /

I've been hosting games on iccup forever, my ports are opened, I'm very familiar with this concept and I've verified over and over again (if the target IP address to open was the right one in ipconfig, everything should be fine.

Unfortunately, people cannot join the games I make (all of a sudden) and I have no idea why. I do not use any firewall or any restricting software so called anti-virus (my mentality is that if you don't download random stuff, you won't get viruses (never had one on this pc in 5+ years))

At my girlfriend's, she does have the windows firewall but I made sure to deactivate it. I'm currently at her place and been unable to host for the past week. I also noticed that a lot of people now host game on iccup that cannot be joined (I'm speculating that they might have the same issue). I whispered a few people asking them "hey cannot join your game are your ports opened!?" and a some people said their ports were in fact opened but weirdly enough nobody joined their games..."

I noticed a lot more koreans also on iCcup, dunno if there's causality (prob not) but worth mentioning.

Do you have 6113-6119 open/forwarded as well?

IIRC Brood War sometimes uses those ports if it has problems with 6112

6112 through 6119 is opened,
mca64 Launcher : UPnP (port forwarding) - 6112 (there's a X next to it indicating its not working)

NETINFO :

SERVER TCP XX.XXX.XXX.XX:6112 (BIND etcetc)
CLIENT TCP : XX.XX.XX.XXX:64368
CLIENT UDP : XX.XX.XX.XXX:13194
GAME UDP : none

so you're saying my client udp should end by 6112? weird I used to be able to host on this laptop no problemo. Ill check into that .reg file thx m8

EDIT: I downloaded the reg file, ran it. It seems to fix the netinfo output, now the number string ends by 6112 (Client UDP, Game UDP and Server TCP)

Unfortunately it still returns an X next to port forwarding in the mca64 launcher and nobody can join my game.

I actually can host and never check that Upnp because it always shows X for me. Try to host without it.
