qft. Play Abyss during the day, brainclan at night, Whatever other random ladders (UGT, WCGZ, and the various others) during the late day early evening. If they could just combine to form a "Super Server" that would fuckin' rock. That being said a TL ladder would be awesome, although i suspect it would soon be populated by non tlers (read as hackers, abusers, really bm whiners, etc etc).

I doubt many people would play this ladder. It needs mass amounts of people to get any respect. People dont put crappy ladders like UGT and Abyss in their profiles. PGT or WGT ladder would be nice.

I can´t see the point in creating a non-ladder-server... You could just join op tl-west imo.
BUT if there were a ladder system I would really apreciate this idea, no matter if it would be for tl-netters only or for everyone.

If there was a TL.net ladder, and our Korean users could send it to FighterForum, PGR21 etc... it would be as good as the old PGT/Gamei.
If Ashur and the BWProgrammers.com coders could form a anti-hack, and Chr1s could help out with the map pack etc... this would be by far the best server ever to come into existance.

Hamachi is a good substitute but like others said it doesn't have a great chat feature

tl-west is a haven for idlers, and this would just reduce the amount of people needed to play team melee with me

i was trying to make Liquid server but i need to operate PvPgn shits 24 hours. but i have friends who are operating server in korea.

setting up a PvPGN server isn't difficult, it takes like 5-10 minutes
the difficult thing would be organizing all that player data into a nice website, and of course implementing the anti-hack. it would be really cool if tl.net could integrate their existing user database with PvPGN. it would probably require a new server though, and that would mean more money T_t
