Yea that looks just like Kang Min... amazing game sense... and uses mind games well, but has the micro of a washed up progamer.

yeah my NaDa rep was proly under lag
The next one on my list is LeeSy (527 APM) vs LeMuRiA-X17 (258 APM)
But LeeSy had 323 macro APM and 69% hotkeys. The game was 9:10 long.

that was g.s)kyo -,- same gay tank rush on forte i believe ^.^

i didn't get my question answered, which progamer of this era has the lowest apm?
i know the majority of progamer's apm, but not the less known ones which is why i ask.

Not that he's a progamer, but Mondi's also on the low side... I don't think I've ever seen a replay between good people where one of the players go below 200 apm

in mondi's pgt rep pack he averaged 200 i think, and during wcg germany 2006 vs fisheye i think he had something like 250 +, and before this he was getting 220's in other games.

Naw, I think YellOw's more around like 250-280.

I think Child has a fairly low APM compared to others around 180-200 but it's not like he's dominant with that low APM.

Don't have any replays on me, but I recall Love[30D.O.M.] and In_Dove both having high APMs in most of their games. Their replays hovered around 400 to 500, so if you're looking for highest legit APM, they would be good contenders.

i've seen gorush play live and at least back when he was younger he damn sure wasn't slow. APM can mean alot of things, such as some players using move command every inch as they move and others (gorush?) presses move-command further away once then changes screen location.

And other oldies, like Slayer used to be really really fast but APM wasn't far above 200, while koreans who seemed slower had a higher APM.

bleh @ APM =O the lag makes it hard to analyze too as some have pointed out

edit: you know someone's crazy when his minimum APM is 313 and his maximum APM is 781...

When JulyZerg defeated Phoenix with Mutalisk...APM of 392 and APM max of 709...

IIRC definitely the Nada game was played under heavy lag.

As for highest apm, I had prop bets with friends where I would need to win the game and have my apm be 400+ for the entire game. I normally play ~300, but managed to meet the requirement both times I did it. However, it involved a LOT of spamming and also lowered my overall play.

Rofl as i saw the thread name i knew you would come brag here.

Guys remember how GoRush get almost no useless action in BWChart, he doesn't spam before larva, he just uses timing.

But seriusly holding a 250+ average over an entire game WITHOUT spamming is something i just dont belive

Easily. Progamers, especially Terrans need it to do all their actions. You barely use hotkeys, so I don't think you can tell how useful they are. Have you seen Nada vs Savior game 2 // any first person VOD of a Terran? I think that will be the best answer for you instead of any text trying to convince you otherwise.

I know how usefull good control of ctrl-groups are, just because i've never gotten used to useing them on buildings doesnt mean I dont know how much faster they make someone. And the times i talk to brand new players the best advice I can possibly give them is for them to get comfortable with useing ctrl-groups.

But from what i've seen there is ALOT of spam going on and useless ctrlgroup clicks.
Clearly pro-gamers..and many more are alot better players than me, and I am NOT saying they are "wrong" or anything to spamming like this.

From what I have seen they are constantly clicking a number on whatever they have grouped..
Like they build a series of marines - and keep cycling the grouped barracks even though they just started makeing a batch of marines. That is spam..
They are good enough to "feel" when the marine would be close to completion and go build another befor the end they don't have to keep "checking up on them"
Anyways it's lots of stuff like that that I notice and that are useless actions - Sure, it might be really good for them to keep the flow of the game going, but its still a useless click..

Open up a random 300+ replay in bwchart and check the "train" and "others" actions lower left there...

There are ALOT of theese arent there? ::

sure, i might be wrong, but it looks like spam to me. And APM is a false way of seeing how fast someone is when 30-40% is hotkey spam.
