Tomorrow at 10 am European time on Swiss radio Couleur3, the interview I had with Tastless at Monza will be broadcasted.
You can listen to it on the web easy with realplayer or wait for the podcast right after it.
As with the IloveOov interview, it will be dubbed in french, so if you understand that language, go ahead and enjoy. For the rest of you guys, I will try to get the original version online, but I can't promise anything since it's not my private material and I can't do as I like with it.
Stay tuned for podcast link! <EDIT> Here it is, PODCAST!!!! Eat that bandwight
Btw, you can even listen to it WHILE watching the OSL fight between good and evil!

Tasteless speaks French? I will be there again, if only to laugh at Swiss French accent.. joking aside, I was surprised how much I understood last time. In my youth I tended to sleep during French class, pity.. should have applied myself more.

Maybe you should edit that line. People may get the wrong idea (I know I had to read it about 5 times to understand what you really meant)

If there is one thing we all must keep, after our years of StarCraft fun & time wasteage.. is this, when you can help a StarCraft friend, do it. Pretty powerful world wide clan if you ask me. Good job d4d, you help tasteless in his career, you help the cause for e-sports and StarCraft, and more important two friends helped each other. Nice interview, everyone sounded very professional!

if the guy would slow down a bit, i would be able to translate the general idea of whats being said, but its too hard with half covered up french spoken too fast.

TRANSLATION: id say about 90% accurate...a couple things were a little unclear but enjoy
intro: (in brief )This is an interview with mr tasteless. who commentates for thousands of ppl for the world cyber games
Interviewer: Im here with a young man. What is your name?
MLT: Hi my name is nick plott also known as tasteless.
Interviewer: what are you doing here at the world cyber games?
MLT: Im a commentator for the game starcraft
Interviewer: Is it like commentating other sports?
MLT: yes its just like that, just like in sports games theres a need to commentate the games here at the world cyber games
Interviewer: Here we have a bit of the action
MLT: ~replay of some of previous match coverage~ note: (OMFG they used the movie i made to celebrate tasteless's comic genious ahahahaha)
Interviewer: Do you do this for a living? are you getting paid?
MLT: yes i am getting paid...and uhh id like to do it for the rest of my life Interviewer: (unclear)
MLT: To be honest my true love is with video games and i really want to continue commentating e-sports on e-sports events
Interviewer: In general do you broadcast to many people?
MLT: Well i think the biggest audience that i broadcast to was world cyber games 2005 with 2-3000 spectators but it listening there was more than 100,000
Interviewer: Oh ok so its worth doing?
MLT: ( a bit unclear) yes i think its something crucial for esports to get more popularity and become bigger. There are people that are soo soo good at something like dancers or basketball players. Theres alot of people who like other sports who appreciate these players it shows the talent it takes to do something like this.
interviewer: Do you think that video games are sports?
MLT: yeah i absolutly think its a sport. At this point in time i think It shows how powerful, the uh mentally based sports are, can be.
interviewer: how would you compare esports with real sports?
MLT: well i guess the primary difference is that the esports are digitized and in life the concepts of competition so at the same time i dont want to say theres that much of a differnce between starcraft and real sports especially with the level of competition. With more physical games like dance dance revolution the differences between the games become more and more blurred.
interviewer: and for the future of esports what do you think/
MLT: I think theres a really bright future for esports, and it is really growing since we entered this cyber era . And were really achieving a sense of ...where people can compete against each other just like in real sports. recreational video games are no longer held against the same lines as i guess ...uhhh we've termed them real sports
interviewer: Can you tell us some specifics about the leagues or tournaments?
MLT: You know theres alot of different leagues going on right now. We have online ladders, where people compete online and then an online ranking. Also online tournaments where people play by form of elimination. These are also very popular but bear in mind that the online ones are very easy to play at home and its also free. Theres also tons of offline tournments like world cyber games here witch are very new and the best players in the world are covered by media and sponsors. so its very competative. Its like for example for baseball there are different leagues little league for the beginners and major league for the true professionals. Were kinda seeing that with esports as well
interviewer: Thank you mr. tasteless do you have anything to add?
mlt: id also like to thank couleur3 for this interview and also ITG for giving me the oppourtunity to do this job.
interviewer: What is ITG?
mlt: ITG is the internet radio station for whom i work.
interviewer: ok and that is where?
mlt: type itg onto google and you'll find the site pretty easily. it stands for inside The Game
