That 50 apm will improve with time once you practice a bit. You should watch medry's stream under Starcraft_BW_VoDs on the side since it has progamer vods since 2000 and it's really entertaining. Snipealot's streams are good to watch as well if you want to see fpv of how terran players play the matchups and such although once you've watched enough, you kind of pick up the idea of composition, what you should aim for, what does/doesn't work etc... Also, you need to watch SSL vods. It started several weeks back. Go to youtube, look for channel SayleBW and start from group A(play all at each group since they would play back to back). I think you would enjoy it a lot ![]() Also, if terran is the race that you really want to play, I wouldn't play protoss or zerg except for the occasional offracing for fun (corsair+dt is fun lol). Protoss and Zerg play differently to Terran (protoss closest due to production) so you'll find that hotkeys, control groups and such all change especially when you consider how terran bio has much lower hp and thus require more babysitting than zealots and dragoons. If you're worried about apm, play mech terran until your apm improves enough to play bio then at least you get a feel for mech since TvP and TvT are both mech based. When I started, I thought that bio terran while was fun, was really hard to play due to my apm(120) and I would always end up losing TvZ. Eventually, I started playing protoss, specifically PvZ(sometimes PvT) but I didn't enjoy it as much as TvZ so I went back XD Since then, while my APM is more or less the same (highest avg apm was 135 several days back), I'm better at macroing(till the 10min or so lol) and I'm able to multitask a bit better. One step at a time ![]()

I've still yet to play against someone I don't know online yet. I remember my first game I played around 10 years ago and the guy in the LAN centre crushed us 2v1 so convincingly that we ended up going back to CS. It's taken this long to realise how much fun it is.

If anything mca64 is the one that might be confusing for new users. Iccup has all this russian dota auto updating stuff to it. I prefer mca.
