It's extremely difficult to add in, say, the live spectating feature (streaming will have to do ). The replays being sent to the server, automatchmaking, and tournaments are all planned features. The mumble server thing is cool but probably won't be in the release, perhaps if there's demand for it we could add it later on.

btw i will hope that the auto upload of replays can also be turned of incase of when you are practicing for a tourny.
The harder it becomes, the more you should focus on the basics.

You won't necessarily be able to download other people's replays unless they're, say, replays from a tournament. We'll see about that closer to release.

I enjoyed looking at replays of top players on WGTour, so I think it's a good idea to make them public. The ladder is a competition in and of itself, so if people want to hide strategies they should practice with a friend off ladder. If a compromise should be made, it would be nice to have replays public by default but a user can opt to hide their replays if they really want to. I think most players won't care.

If someone had remapped their hotkeys, I would laugh at them. Figuring out hotkeys is like the most noobiest element in learning how to play. It's like literally one of the first things you do after beating the campaign for the first time without cheat codes. You learn to split your workers and hotkey stuff. Some people might benefit from changing the hotkeys and some might not. Overall, it's not going to change the skill level of any particular player to give him or her a noticeable advantage in the long run.

You don't seem to understand. If we had macro hotkeys or plugins that could help increase the macro, think of the potential. We could essentially all max out at 10minutes with ease.

We should just straight up allow multihacks then.

So you wouldn't benefit from having patrol on Q?

If you're not shift a-clicking rally points every 30 seconds on your units instead of patrolling then you are doing it wrong.

You patrol vultures to micro the shit out of them.

Having patrol on Q actually makes it much easier to micro vultures, so I changed my mind: no fucking hotkey remapping!

Fuck vultures and mutalisks, super gay units!

LOL, there we go. If any of my posts can make someone a little more hateful I'm doing it right.

Happy Birthday by the way!

Shouldn't bother with match making and focus more on a working server, opening port is easy I am sure that if you teach him a monkey can do it, there is also tons of videos on youtube that explain how to open port...

you want it to be implimented in the server in some sort of way that it doesn't matter over your internet ports,
since sometimes an ips uses a second router, which people general don't have control over
The harder it becomes, the more you should focus on the basics.

We have a working server already, if that's all we wanted we could release tomorrow. It's all the bonus features we want to make people's playing experience more enjoyable and easy.

IMO, launch once you have something usable. (Or possibly do a private beta?) It helps to have actual users, because it gives motivation to do more stuff, plus you get to find out what people actually care about most.
