EPTThough he ended up failing in the end, Birdie at least tried to do something for the scene. So long as he gave it a fair shot (he would know about this one lol), I don't really care that it didn't finish or won't anymore. For everyone saying they are disappointed about it, well, we haven't had updates for over a year (much more but let's say a year). If it was going to finish and he was making progress, we would've at least gotten something, anything so personally, I figured it won't get done and didn't bother getting my hopes up. Good on you Birdie for trying but I think you should've been more realistic or at least not mention the server until you've done enough work on it that you won't just cancel the project. No point in announcing something when commitment could've been an issue.

That said, if anyone really assumed this server would, with confidence, get up and running at any point, and god forbid within the last year...they were kidding only themselves. That's nothing against Birdie, but it's pretty damn rare in general that a person goes out; by themselves, for no pay, and accomplishes something as grandiose as making a server. It's probably happen before, but I'd bet my life on that type of thing being a significant statistical outlier. | ||
