If the sheer presence of SC2 stuff on /starcraft means you won't support/read/get involved with BW stuff on it then why are you even bothering to post in this thread. Half the goddamn forum has turned into whining babies who would rather rant and rave about SC2 then talk about BW. We all get it you hate SC2 but seriously if you hate SC2 more then you like BW you need to reconsider why you bother to visit TL.
I don't hate starcraft 2, I'm neutral toward it, which means I don't really care about it. I looked at /starcraft on reddit and it was like searching through the 'upcoming events' here on TL trying to find something that had to do with Brood War. That's all I was trying to say.
EDIT: Let me make myself a little more clear- I'm here on TL to follow the pro Korean BW scene, that's it.

Thanks for doing an effort and pointing this out.
Created account and upvoted.

tbh... TL is where it's at when it comes to anything starcraft. The forums aren't overflowed with annoying random image macros (see [SFW] Random pictures that make you laugh) TL has structure and a dedicated team of staff that cater to their members. Its cool and all that you want to 'upvote' steam links, however I think it would be more constructive to just share the link on different sites and not focus on getting 500 people up upvote a single link. If 500 people hear about BW news in one day only from the link you supplied, you did great! tl;dr TL is awesome, don't forget it.

Just posting it on TL gets you maybe 100 viewers, 150 if you're lucky and they are all old blood.
Posting it on Reddit gets you 300+ and a large portion of them are new viewers of which you'll be able to recruit a handful for watching future events if you put on a good show.
TL is awesome yes but it's stagnant.

Agreed, look at Sayle rebroadcasts ealier, specially the finals. Half or more of the viewers came from Sc2. And reddit is crawling with them. If the reddit link is posted here somewhere, it takes literally nothing to upvote an event there, you dont even has to look anything else, yet you gain attention to BW

To be honest, I don't get reddit. It must be my age though.

Yeah whilst a lot of reddit may be not to my tastes, it undeniably brings in viewers, which can only be a good thing. It keeps our tournaments rolling! And our number of upvotes every time is rising, and rising.

Reddit is slightly classier, or at least it was.
But 4chan does have a decent sized Starcraft community. But don't go there. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Get your Onion tor ready, I've got places to show you.

I don't go on really any website other than Teamliquid and google (to look at other websites periodically lol), but this seems pretty cool. I like how just getting the front page almost doubled your viewers, this seems like it would be extremely beneficial to start doing.

Posting to 4chan might be pretty beneficial too. We had some successful LR threads there during the last Proleague.

Yea, lets viral streams everywhere and spam/force vote it down everyones throat.
I don't know about reddit or anything, but I go out of my way to avoid anything being spammed.

4chan is not all /b/ and /d/.
That's like saying reddit is all r/picsofdeadkids and r/spacedicks and r/childporn.
