Following a 6 win streak with a 2 loss streak, KT Rolster’s
Stats had a crisis of confidence. Even in the match again Air Force ACE, Stats didn’t give off the vibe of a sure-win card because he didn’t play well during his loss streak. There was a bit of pressure from losing to Kal before, but – with cool, collected play – Stats got his revenge. Stats broke his personal 2 loss win streak and simultaneously lifted KT to proleague’s first ever 200 win team, cementing its place in the lead. Q: You broke your losing streak
Stats: The 2 loss streak felt surprisingly long. It feels rather like I haven’t won in 2 weeks. I practiced extra hard to stop the streak even one day earlier. I’m really glad I was able to do that. Q: What were you thinking during your losing streak
Stats: I was envious watching the other players win. Now that I’ve won today, I’ll practice in order to build up another win streak. Thankfully the team still won when I was losing. Q: Your record against
Bogus, who you lost to last match, isn’t goodStats: Coach keeps giving me good shots at evening the score but I can never take advantage. I feel kind of bad. Q: Any reason
Bogus is such a thorn in your side?Stats: I guess Bogus just reads me really well. So every time the match starts I go in feeling like I’m at a disadvantage. Q: Any regrets from your loss to
SnowStats: It was good up to the harass attempts but afterwards I didn’t manage my money well. And during the one big fight I lost really badly, which decided the match. I had so many regrets it was hard to type gg.Q: You got your 8th win. Any ambitions to get the most wins?
Stats: I try not to think about stuff like that. It’s important to deal with the things right before you properly. I’ll just concentrate on racking up wins in the matches to come. I am a little greedy [about getting most wins] but if I start dreaming about that I think it’ll be hard to focus on my matches. Q: The team got 200 wins.
Stats: Since I won and my team got 200 wins, I feel like I’m twice as happy.Q: You had some dangerous moments in today’s match, too.
Stats: After I saw the two reaver shuttle I kept thinking one mistake could seal the match. I controlled my units with all senses on high alert. It was the most nerve-wracking part of today’s match. In the counterattack after blocking Kal’s attack I lost my double reavers, too, but thankfully the match had already swung in my favor by then.Q: Next match is against Samsung KHAN. Stats: I want to avoid everyone if possible. I don’t have anyone I’d like to face, and I want to avoid Stork and JangBi. It’d be good if Flash could take them out (laughs). I also want to avoid 
RorO. I don’t have a good record against him. Q: A goal for the rest of the matches and round 3
Stats: I’m going to practice really hard and join Flash in being undefeated for the rest of the matches. In reality it’s probably 1% decided by my opponents, too, but if I’m really ambitious couldn’t I reduce that chance even more? Q: Anything else you want to say
Stats: It feels good to interview for the first in a while, and win for the first time in a while. Whenever I lose my parents always call to encourage me so I’m thankful for that.
