Each half-year season has a full playoff of 4 teams, so it'll feel like a perfectly good final (from what I understand of OP) just all us fans of proleague are used to its history of having yearly grand grand finals. The league still has playoffs and finals, just not necessarily in the form we all lub. | ||

BO5 means we won't really get to see anyone new. No Ace means we won't really get to see the best players play each other often. No Grand Finals is the worst idea I've heard... The whole point of a league is to crown a winner. One winner. | ||

Not sure if you recall, but last season we got to see lots of new blood. This season we are not in the same situation, we are in survival mode. You want a league full of ace matches? Watch OSL. PL is about a TEAM winning, I actually am glad Flash can't carry their team to victory now, if KT wins it will be because KT wins, not because they have Flash | ||

The Bo5 no KOF format is interesting. Before the season, I thought there would be 6 rounds with 2 rounds being WL. After all, gotta give fanboys and fangirls a chance to see Bisu and Flash in all their glory going for AKs. But instead they're nerfing star players. I really hope they can still maintain interest doing this. Lord knows the ratings is going be important for sponsorship and future seasons. | ||

It's the fact everyone wants a grand final, final. Instead of two finals in two seasons. They had to shrink it down because they only have one network now and we won't get to see as many players now. How will you let the other guys develop? There just isn't the same amount of opportunity anymore for them to excel especially once they get knocked out of the OSL. They'll probably find themselves playing more and more SC2 more than anything else. It's a bitter pill to swallow. I understand it, but there is nothing like a grand final tying everything together rather than having two bite size seasons with three rounds each. :/ | ||

It's like a fighter ace. You best pilot. Gets a lot of kills. You don't wanna lose before the 5th match having not played your best player. | ||

Maybe they can add in a Grand Finals for winner of round 1 and winner of round 2. I prefer BO5 and less days a week, imo. Less stress on players, more time to prep for individual leagues. | ||
