KeSPA is just like that, they announce things at the very last minute. It's pretty much why some teams are choosing to play it on the side now because KeSPA announcing it last minute doesn't give them much time to prepare, so they're covering their asses just in case.

We'll probably hear rumors weeks maybe even months before things actually happen, like always.

Don't really mind it at this point tbh. Looking forward to the day when most A-teamers have jumped ship and the sc2 scene is overflowing with koreans that know how to really practice and play RTS. Korean sc2 pro's are relatively lazy as compared to bw pro's.

The best part about this is how extremely laughable it will look when we have like 200 foreign pro's on the payroll of random teams, that are mostly concerned with making as many talk shows as they can manage and maybe get a top 50 finish at an mlg with 4 korean participants. Because, in due time, brood war A-teamers will make all these players look below bronze.

SC2 fans should pray that proleague does well and stays with BW for at least this full year (both seasons), because I'm putting money down that the inflow of S-class and A-class players switching to SC2 will not only destroy today's SC2 top players (former BW scrubs such as MVP, Iron(aka MC), ZERGBONG (Nestea), the fallen Nada and Boxer), but could bridge the gap significantly between foreigners and koreans, much like in brood war.

Can we all just agree that people shouldn't needlessly bump topics?

I personally dont think that the Top Korean pro's are just instantly going to come onto the scene and ruthlessly dominate.

Simply because, they are absolute masters of BW....SC2 is not BW..

Jaedong (all time favorite player) has APM in the 300+ region...that is wonderful, amazing skill. And is necessary for the mechanically difficult BW. But in SC2 that would simply be wasted energy.

The interface is so much more streamlined and efficient in SC2, that the overall macro functions are much simpler and easier to execute (Which is not the same as EZMODE HERP DERP DESPISE SC2 LMFAO, improving on functionality and streamlining something is simply improvement, not herp derping something)

Its a new game with new strategies and new mechanics. Of course the rigorous BW mechanics will translate somewhat into SC2 and they will come onto the scene as very skilled. But honestly, I think MVP could take Jaedong down if Jaedong made the switch. At least for 6-8 months of intense practice for JD..

SC2 is more similar to broodwar than u might think. Most of the basics were left untouched. Check out SC2 and BW PvZ for example. Those guys will come and will kick ass due to the experience, knowledge of the ways one should train and explore stuff and other things like that.

I agree, the skill of the top players of BW that have in RTS games is just insane, also Jaedong, Flash, Bisu, Fantasy, Jangbi they know how to train, just see Select, how he was Top player at Down of War, then he switched to SC2 and hes very good, oh boy those top BW players gonna rock if they switch!

ROFL. Where is your SC2 now.

*TROLLFACE*

Proleague FTW! I saw the games yesterday - and all is right with the world! SC2 good, but when I see SCBW, SC2 seems sooooooo irrelevant.
For the Swarm!!! Jaedong & Neo_G.Soulkey fan.
