* Changes were made to previous years' format but all matches are still Bo7, all-kill style. The previous season's ladder format: + Show Spoiler +
8th and 9th placed teams in the PL play the first match and the winner of this match plays the 7th placed team. The winner of that then plays the 6th placed team. So on so forth until we reach the final.
* Under this new group format, the defending champion is still seeded directly into the final but all other teams need only win 3 matches to reach the final.
* All matches to be held at the MBC studio, except for the final.
