u say he doesnt macro/micro to win.. how about you go download the replay of Testie with Terran against Arang with Protoss and You tell me how he doesnt muicro and macro ok??? that game shows the most unbelievable vulture control that my eyes have ever seen hack or no hack hes still opne of the greatest bw players | ||

he generally loses when the other player is just as skilled (if not more so), and has faster hands/more experience. the cause of his losses is rarely something he did ever since he changed his style to ultra-conservative. | ||

 I don't know Testie, I'm not his supporter, but I played him once and was owned. The guy is good, period. Reading through these replies, I noticed how irrelevant the people against Testie are. For those who are supporting him, you guys make logical sense. How many time have I seen this topic, MANY!!! get it over with already... ps. plz dont compare hacking with addiction to smoking... so off!!~  | ||

Im not saying he has bad micro or macro, im saying generally his higher level opponents have better macro and micro, yet he still wins, due to good timing and making the right units. | ||

If someone is "better" than another person doesnt mean he has better micro or macro in that particular game. Each game is different it all depends on certain things like First game of the day - rusty Just got inside from cold weather - hands cold.. harder to control THe guy who won could have been wamred up really well by playing all day. Or the guy who losses could have just played a 1 hour game and hands are sore from clicking could be lack of sleep.. etc. So u cant judge "why testie wins vs ""better macro/micro'ers"" It can usually all depend on what the 2 people have gone through during their day. or if they play the game of their life I know for certain I've beaten over 5 well known players that are way out of my league. (Not because I hack or because I made the right timings) Its because I played the games of my life and kicked it into overdrive... thoughts thinking quicker, hands moving faster, it gets more intense when I play people I really want to beat. you cant really judge by the things you have stated. | ||

fucking listen to me im generalizing from what ive seen alot of the higher level games I see testie plays he is outmicrod and outmacrod, yet he still wins because he makes the right units and attacks at the right times. this is ALL im saying and im not saying it again. | ||

Very much experience and he has probably played for hours every day since sc started. He has ALOT of experience, he can plan attacks very well while knowing b/o's/strats by certain mysterious moves opponent makes just by experience. Hes very Smart and observant. Now hes even better while playing with such kor pros ex. today jju,v-gundam, nal_rarri, and arang ask testie for practice for tv games he plays with the best which makes him one of the best | ||

Testie probably does not hack now, but I go back to the old and well-used analogy: "Would you leave your 11 yr old daughter in the care of a convicted kiddy fucker?" I mean this guy served fully 3 yrs of his sentence before he got parole...give the guy a break... P.S Kiddie dont waste ya time dude ----> P.P.S Someone please close this topic I'm pretty sure everyone on bnet knows about testie, and if ya dont wanna take the risk of being hacked, do as i do, dont ask to play him. Hack or not, the poor guy has had enough im sure. Just ignore him...who cares about wgtour? there was more than one hacker playing it... | ||

He was caught once but since he was (i assume) good we gave him a second chance But then he was caught again. Sorry but if you get caught twice you don't get a third chance. Again: i don't care if he's good if he hacks He had his two shots he blew them | ||

1. The hacker admits to it 2. The hacker uses a peon glide without vision of the appropriate mineral patch. Testie did both. To quote a line from minority report, this is an "orgy of evidence", something that very rarely happens on bnet to hackers, since 99% of hackers never get caught this way and so 99% of hackers get away with hacking. Its amazing people still debate this, and in the extremely rare circumstances that a hacker gets caught the bnet community only gives them a slap on the wrist? In testie's case, two slaps on the wrist. When do we draw the line,3,4? The other option to combat hacking is to watch that player's replays and note anything suspicious. You can't prove someone hacks this way, but you might be able to gather up enough information to decide if you would like to refuse to play that person. Coincidentally or not, Testie's rise on the wgtour ladder happened at the same time that wgtour's replay system became corrupt. I downloaded his last 16 replays, 15 of them were somehow saved as text files. In general I'm not impressed by Testie's strategies. He goes fast nexus vs zerg, marines vs protoss, and uses several other strategies that are vulnerable unless you have the specific defense. Its true that certain levels of micro and macro skill are undeniable, and this alone does make testie a decent player. However, being a decent player in no way justifies hacking even once out of one hundred games. Also is Testie's micro and macro really that amazing? It seems ok to me but not impressive at all, certainly not significantly better than anyone else in the top 50 of wgtour. Personally, I think Testie deserves the same treatment as another known hacker: JelloOne. | ||
