If somebody can remember the name of that rush, you'll be a lifesaver.
PvP?!
Of course we know what game it is; the guy that did it just retired!
Bisu vs Pokju at Sin Peaks of Baekdu, June 25, 2007 - Game 24 on the list
Man these are fun to watch. Brings back memories of the glory days of BW when there were 12 teams and everything. And pre match fixing scandal, kind of lost the passion for SC after that hit.
Are you sure that VOD is higher quality? Looks about the same to me (- the subtitles). I guess I can add a link to that VOD if you want.
Also I think it deserves to be #1. :-)
The numbering reflects the order in which games were added to the thread, not some sort of ranking. Going by the votes, that game is #1 by a large margin.

Seconding this. Factory before depot, baby! Hwasin did it again against hyvaa on Holy World in Bacchus2009. Not sure if you want to include both, or neither, or just one, or whatever, but here are the videos: [VODs]

It's definitely higher quality, although not much. Most importantly it's less blurry which makes it much easier to see cloaked wraiths, plus the image isn't squished.

wow ouch. Poor Pokju. Bisu so cruel if Pokju indeed retired although I have to give him props for finding that crazy good location to proxy his 2 gates.

Your spotlighting that one brought in a couple more votes, so it has now been retired to the Hall of Fame. In its place, I've added game #118, a miniature on Blue Storm that you might like for similar reasons: careful planning, good execution, a pretty decent reaction from the opponent and a bloody fight to the finish!
I also added "Categorize games" to the list of ways you can contribute to this thread, if you'd like to. If you've watched a game, and it occurs to you that it would fit well in X category (whether said category exists yet or not), that's a very helpful thing to post.
Finally, continuing to plug the "Games that might be worth watching" section: just because a game is in that section doesn't mean it's not worth a watch. Several of the games there are just on the (arbitrary) border of inclusion in the main list/hall of fame. For example: games 33-35, a classic installment in the famous Boxer-Yellow rivalry. 33-35. BoxeR vs YellOw; Pelennor/Requiem/Mercury; EVER2004 OSL; 04-11-12 VOD + Show Spoiler [What makes this unusual?] +
For many, many years, BoxeR vs. YellOw was the most storied rivalry in the history of Starcraft (and therefore of all e-sports). Widely regarded in their heyday as the best two players in Starcraft, the two met each other in countless high-stakes matches. Each took games off the other, but Boxer was seen as having the edge when it came to winning the games that mattered.
The last major tournament that saw the two face off against each other in a high-stakes match was the Ever OSL in 2004. Owing to both the iconic status of each of these players, and their long and storied history against each other, their semi-final meeting was anticipated and hyped to almost delirious levels. The match was expected to be nothing short of "epic". However, Boxer, who throughout his career has delighted in defying expectations, had other plans. The ensuing match was one of the most brutal and short-lived in OSL semi-final history; certainly the most polarizing and controversial.
In RPS circles, they call this sort of tactic the avalanche.

Yellow played it perfect in game 1 and games 2 and 3 were facepalm reactions from him -.- but netherless it was a big surprised series Edit: The Sir@Soni game was on Lost Temple for your information
A couple more votes trickled in and I finally moved game #38 to the Hall of Fame. I replaced it with game #119.
That left game #41 at the top of the main list. I would have moved that to "Games that might be worth watching", since it has been on the list for a long time without being appreciated or watched much, but I noticed that there had never been a full video of that game up. I was able to find one on Youku, so now, for the first time, fOru vs. NaDa has a full VOD up. Watch it if you want—and if you do, cast a vote!
Yup, that's the game. I've made the formatting and I've found a compilation VOD "10 Years Star Age," some other ridiculous games in there too. I know I've watched all those episodes, but I can't remember the games exactly. The description on the video is basically like this thread. ... Edit: I would actually recommend people, who are really interested and haven't seen it yet, watch all of the episodes of "10 Years Star Age." Here's the playlist on the nevake account.
I'm looking for the Boxer vs Skel-ton game where he blinded observers. I saw a guick glimps of it in a pimpest play video but i can't find it in this thread.
Does everyone know where to find it ? It's from the third Game-Q Starleague on Outpost ?
Oh lol someone reposted the Pokju game. What did he become ?
i was just thinking of this thread because i watched this game. cool to see it still active

iirc pokju retired after that game (just like how Jy retired after this game? which reminded me of this game)
