I've never actually seen the full game, but it seems like a long TvT that ends up with a split map, BCs, and nukes. Here is my earlier response. In the OP, I try to address this concern: In terms of how to vote, it's simple: you've watched a game in this thread, expecting something unusual, or amazing or whatever you expect from a game in this thread. Were you satisfied? Vote "Yes" in the poll. Were you disappointed? Vote "No" in the poll. I should note, by the way, that the JD vs Fantasy game you mention was one of the three games that were in the very first edition of the OP, so if that doesn't count as an "unusual game", then you can't even say that the thread devolved--it was never as restricted as you expected in the first place. For what it's worth, what I thought made the game unusual was a) the strategy used in the first place and b) the way it played out. Your mileage may vary, but after all that's what the polls are for. | ||

I'm still updating the OP, I still intend to incorporate everybody's input, the OP is up to game #75, aaand, I'm still not even done with page 4. So, yeah. Slow but steady. Game 2, Stork loses base, relocated, countered with well microed reaver, and brought in the 'scout' to save the day. Commentators are very excited when the scout appeared. | ||
