), I can say that all races will factor scouting at varying levels depending on the map, matchup, player strengths, etc...slowly figuring out more and more about the battle algo as seasons go on will be a big part of the game, i think ![]() | ||

in the initial design of my rebuild of this (weeks ago) I was intrigued by a possibility of race ID 4, random. i had it as a 1% chance and the other races as 33% chance when generating players. there are too many things in the algorithms for both training and battle that don't work well with it and you'd honestly need 3 sets of stats. I don't think any stat other than sense applies the exact same to all races. so I scrapped it. 33.3/33.3/33.3 and no random. i have a good portion of how it could work mapped out in case i ever want to revisit the idea. seeing FlaSh do random will be super fun, though. Weds this week was the only day i didn't get to work on it at least a little. I got a solid hour in today and doing another hour right now. Gonna work on build order selection logic | ||

I worked on the league=>season=>match (and linked tables)=>map datamodel. This is about 5hr from complete. I scoped out work for the battle algorithm as well (for pl/msl matches). Rest of week+weekend will be scoping out work for training and 'special match' algorithms and finishing datamodel. Next week I will begin to have juicy visuals when I implement the UI for this backend work.The 1-2 weeks after that, more visuals. | ||
