at first i thought you were just saying that for shits and giggles but after studying each match-up, i realized that your statement was amazingly accurate lol
only bisu vs stork seems interesting. Anywhere there is a cool and exciting player he is either matched up with a not very cool player or with a race that he isn't very good against.
Bisu vs Stork and pretty much a slew of near-certain Z victories. Hopefully a few other players get some wins. But at least we finally get a series of S-class players.
Kal has a good chance against Roro. At best we will only have 5 zerg in the Ro8. Sounds great. BTW I hate the map pool in individual league this year, though Dante's Peak might prove itself.
Bisu vs Stork, wtf. I had no idea about that this could happen until now. That is quite a nostalgic match-up, they played so many great games against each other. No really scary terrans left for Jaedong to worry about. I cannot imagine him having problems with Midas.
noooooooooo. as awesome as bisu vs stork for itself is, i dont want to see it in the ro16 of a very zerg heavy msl.... this should be the semifinal/final...
but if bisu wins against stork, we could very well be heading towards a bisu vs jd boX finally! *omgomgomg*
imho jd, and the winner of bisu vs stork are the favorites.
I'm hoping Ssak and Classic can make it through to the Ro8. Looking at the statistics for these maps, I think Snow has very little chance against Hogil.
Ssak vs Calm - Clam is the clear favourite here. I havent whatched many of the Ssak games, but I hear he is not that bad, so he can take advantage of Calm`s medicore zvt.
Hydra vs Classic - Hydra no doubt.
Jaedong vs Midas -As much as I want Midas to advance, I cant see him beating JD.
HoGiL vs Snow Dont know. 50/50 imo
great vs Action - i dont understand zvz, so I have no idea.
ZerO vs Neo.G_Soulkey - the same
RorO vs Kal - I`m rooting for Roro, but Kal is a boss.
Bisu vs Stork - By the time of this game, Bisu`s hair will be covering his eyes so stork will win this easily.
Too bad Bisu and Stork have to play each other in the round of 16 but if Bisu wins than he can have his favorite PvZ all the way (JD as last boss off course). Bisu has a slight advantage over Stork cuz his team is doing better in PL and he can focus on MSL while Stork needs to focus for PL, MSL, OSL... but this series is gonna be tough and close as usual.
I agree with everyone else that the teamkills and stork vs bisu are bad.
If these are the brackets, then ssak has a legitimate chance to make it into the Ro4, and then have another great series with jaedong like he did last MSL.
And the all zerg bracket is intriguing. Great would be a fool to go hive against action: a zerg with some of the worst early game control around. But after that, The zero vs soulkey batchup and the Ro8 matchup should be fun. Zero got the two people that are most likely to indulge him with his hive play. While I don''t like teamkills, soulkey vs zero is the best one I can think of. Hive ZvZ is already strange and not understood by us, and adding in the fact that they practice this against each other every day, insanity will ensue.
GL to Zero, and GL to Bisu and Ssak (and stork I guess if he beats bisu)

It's only for Round of 16. Round of 8 is decided by KeSPA rankings

That means that if ssak wins, he's screwed next round? I mean, Jaedong and Kal could lose, and he plays zero, but I'm rooting for zero, so that doesn't help. Damn, an unbelivable upset is one thing, but a second? In a RoX format? Then go Zero and Bisu I guess.
hrm... I was hoping that Bisu and Stork would play elsewhere in the bracket, but this is how the brackets worked out, i guess. I'm hoping that the series will be very epic, and that the winner will go and face (and hopefully beat) Jaedong in the finals. =)
Its good that Jaedong got a normal terran in RO16. He really needs to play with normal opponents, because now he often plays noobs or players that are incapable of resisting him, and when he meets resistance to his aggression he sometimes doesn't know what to do. He has a weakness similar to flash's - if flash shows weakness when one puts pressure on him constantly, and doesn't fail in battles, jaedong shows weakness when one resists his aggression and doesn't fail in some stupid way.
So when he plays "noobs" then he can't beat normal players X_x
Wow. Bisu vs Stork? In the Ro16? I guess it saves us the time of knowing who the eventual champion of this OSL will be. Also, why does is it seem that SK faces Zero too often? LOL Anyway, Bisu all the way!
Wow. Bisu vs Stork AND Jaedong vs Midas. Two awesome matches right there. Maybe Midas can pull something off, similar to his game on Hitchikers vs Savior. Meh propably not :p, but i will root for him non the less!
Midas has been playing well of late, and Dong has looked lackluster. I don't think it'll be a complete wash in Dong's favour: He's looking lost these days.
Well I'm rooting for Jaedong, and to a lesser extent, Stork! even though he's going to play against Bisu ( >3 ). These two guys are on my Protoss Top 3.
5 of them look to have a great shot at getting through too...I don't want another ZvZ final. The only way it'd be amazing would be if every game went to hive tech...
Bisu vs Stork saddens me. They should have both had a shot at a seed. I guess that's what Stork gets for losing his shuttle to RoRo. I really don't know who to root for; they are my absolute favourite players. I suppose Stork still has the OSL, but rooting against him would be so unnatural. I'll just hope for a good series that goes to three games.
With Stork's lacking PvP and the many zergs, this is Bisu's MSL to lose. The first player to ever win 4 of the same starleague will be... Bisu?
Midas was no match for JD last MSL Ro16. But I think this is a weaker JD this time around. He still has the advantage, but I could see the teddy bear sneaking his way through. I'm rooting for that outcome.
Out of my 2 favorite players, Bisu'd better advance. He is the only one can deal with a tons of Zergs like that. That's why Stork should forfeit the match for Aiur's sake. (j/k) And someone who knows when the matches will start plz tell me.
that's not too bad honestly in terms of balance lol. although it's still hard to believe that both light and sea didnt even make the Ro16 :O (let alone flash/fantasy)
Wow, I wish I could have seen some more Bisu vs zerg in this MSL but I guess it was not meant to be. And midas, rooting for you really hard man, but you are hard pressed to beat jaedong.
It really sucks that its midas vs. jaedong. It would have been really cool to see a terran in the next round...it looks like our only hope might be classic.
Calm should be a pretty heavy favourite to beat Ssak. Not sure why some people seem to think it otherwise. The only reason why Calm has had such shitty win % ZvT as of late is because he has been getting smacked around by Flash/Light/Fantasy over and over. He has had rotten luck having to play against some of the best TvZ again and again. Against any lesser terran he should win, even more so when has time to prepare.
The only other positive, aside from potentially amazing games, regarding ZerO vs SK is that obv one of them is guaranteed a spot in the ro8. So at least it's better than them getting separate matches and both losing I guess D:
It will be so weird if 7 zerg get through (i'd say its quite likely as well, clam should have a good chance vs ssak, hydra has been stomping lately and jaedong is jaedong, and even tho kal's pvp has looked good lately roro is about the same level as him.) all the zvz's would be dissapointing a little, just gotta hope stork/bisu can stomp through to the final for some good pvz action
It really is Jaedong's MSL to lose. There isn't anybody that could be dangerous to him until the finals... a bunch of mediocre terrans and tons of zergs. His only worry might be that the only 3 protosses to take a game from him in the past 15 months are all still in this MSL. However, Kal's proved inferior to JD boosting a 1-8 record in the past year. Bisu (2-0 against JD) and Stork (4-3) have to face eachother in the ro16, so there is basically only one opponent that might stop JD. But considering JD's insane ZvP and the fact that it will be a bo5, make it quite unlikely that the tyrant won't take his 6th star league.
The possibility of a zerg-infested ro8 seems to be quite high...
Hydra > Classic Hydra has been on fire lately. Classic on the other hand, hasn't shown anything impressive.
Jaedong >> Midas No way Midas is even taking a game from Jaedong
Bisu vs Stork = heartbreak Such a pity that they have to face each other so early. Hopefully the winner will be the other finalist next to JD.
HoGiL > Snow Snow's PvZ is quite poor while HoGiL's ZvP is stellar. HoGiL takes it easy
ZerO > Neo.G_Soulkey ZerO vs Neo.G_Soulkey is bound to be close, but I believe that ZerO will take it.
Kal > RorO Kal is probably the non-zerg with the highest chance of reaching the ro8. His PvZ is quite decent and he'd actually be sitting at 62% in this mu if it weren't for his terrible all-time record against JD. Calm > Ssak Calm is certainly the favorite here, but Ssak might cause an upset since he has oov to back him up.
I would not be so quick to say that Midas has no chance against Jaedong. This round is probably the riskiest round for JD; once he gets to best of fives his chance of losing plummets unless he's playing Bisu or Stork.
I think there's a good chance JD not making it to the finals. Why? There are a lot of Zergs this time, and he'll have to play ZvZ's. I definately don't doubt JD's ZvZ skills but ZvZ is the most luck based mirror match-up...so we'll have to see.
this is an amazing opportunity for jaedong and the winner of bisu/stork as there are so many zergs. especially for jaedong as there are no terrans that could take him down. that being said, flash would have had a field day as well if he didn't get hit by the karma gods
