Pretty sudden. But figures he got real life issues going on. The unexpected part is that ForGG is still very active in the proleague, despite losing pretty much all games. It's kinda idiotic for him to go SC2. Surely his contract with KT is substantial and sudden switch to SC2 means he will be lagging behind all currently active SC2 player. There is a learning curve involved here. ForGG isn't Flash. | ||

KT's ForGG has suddenly announced his retirement. ![[image loading]](http://imgur.com/Bb0EB.jpg) On the 28th, KT announced that ForGG had retired due to personal reasons. ForGG debuted in 2005 for Hwaseung and won the Arena MSL in 2008. He also did very well in Proleague. On March 13, 2009, he changed teams to KT, making a great contribution to KT taking home the 09-10 Proleague crown. However, ForGG's been in a slump and his results have been disastrous. So due to personal issues, he was forced to retire. KT accepted his request. Under KeSPA regulations, if a player who retires before his contract is up wishes to come out of retirement, he must announce that to KeSPA through his former team after a year. On top of that, he must go through some special KeSPA arranged matches for coming out of retirement. ForGG has retired before the end of his contract. He had even played during R2 for KT and made it into the MSL Ro32. ForGG's reason for retirement is unclear, but it has caused a crisis in the MSL. ForGG was slated to play his MSL Ro32 games on the 30th, but due to his retirement, the state of MSL Group F is a hot topic for netizen debate. MBC's administration has announced that they also just received word of ForGG's retirement, and do not as of yet have a plan for resolving the Group F dilemma. Bisu can come back to MSL =D Okay but srsly, sad to see him go on such short notice. I still remember some of his terrific timing attacks like they were yesterday. Thanks for the run you've put on for us ForGG and we hope you have a great future! | ||
