Oh wow, I had this huge cost effectiveness and equity analysis written up in some PM's i sent out to friends aobut the merit of picking players, the no 1 point bonus for team winning kills that a TON, considering its how FPL hsa been set up for years im actually really surprised to see that changed just like that. The team performance really, when it came down to it, was everything.
Stats, Wins about 80% of his games, plays ace, had 20% chance to have KT get to ace and he win there, so equity gives about .8+1.2 (or 2) if he wins for 4 points, .8 if his team loses. Assuming his team wins 75% of games, that is a 1.7 point equity for 4 points cost.
S2, doesn't win much, maybe .3 equity for his game, but his team wins 95% of the time, so 1.25 equity for 2 points.
Best, plays a lot and wins, 60% of the time. .6 plus .95 is 1.55 equity for 6 points, will win an ace maybe 3-5% of games, negligible amount but rounds him up to 1.6 equity for 6 points
Kwanro, SK's best zerg, .5% chance to win, 1.45 equity for 3 points
Light, best value pick I saw, very surprised to see him there tbh. wins .6% of time, team wins maybe 60%, he splits ace time wiht Sea. Basically, really fucking high quity for 4 points
All that counteracts the fact i picked FOX, probalby a top 3-5 team, deifnitely worth 3 points instead of dropping 4 extra points for SK to have 30% better chance of winning given the players i have.
Ok enough ranting to you <3 I jus tthought you'd listen better than omst, and I'm proud of my picks.
PS: Editting this in just for you since you listeend more than anyone eles lol
Anti team picks are: Killer - 4 Jaedong - 8 Cloud (2006 progamer on Ace who never gets playing time onw) - 1
Jaedong has the lowest equity per value, and no other 4-5+ point player can offer lower value due to the teams they play on guaranteeing them .4-.6 equity, meanwhile Jaedong offers much much less, all for 8 points, even though he will play in ace matches, whihc cna hurt, this is a great value pick either way
Killer is fucking terrible, plays a lot but is bad and wont win much on a team that wont win much. Also great value pick
Cloud, from airforce ace, was the worst bottom of the A-teamer on Ace, and I can't put ALL my eggs in one basket and risk -3 points every time oz wins, so this is a nice way to split the eggs up.
Now I will have to redraw everything up, going to save that roster so that, in the small small event that hwe are given 1 point for team wins, I can change my team back.
Btw, is this only gonna be text based without an interface such as the previous seasons? I don't know about last season how stuff went down then, wasn't too much on TL at the time.

Because of how the system has changed for this season...The interface is going through some major changes,we will be text based for this round and using the TL interface from next round.

Bogus is a piece of sh**********t. But Leta & Sea, hmm.. think they'll do good. Atleast get mediocre amount of points.
Good luck to you for that
User was warned for this post Sorry for calling Bogus a piece of sh*t, I was joking about this, honestly.

Doesn't make sense. No matter his form Sea will always bring in points from ace match appearances.

Yah well before we haven't been running FPL off some dude's spreadsheet, either.
I feel that I am taking a lot of risk by putting Horang2 on my anti. This guy has the magical ability of constantly running into tosses and win his only legitimately good matchup.
Jaehoon and Perfectman, thank you for your miraculous performances in R1, now you can go back to your slump dog style.
Btw, best of luck to those who put Roro on their anti-team. You will need them.
Thanks so much for doing this Integral. It's a really big effort on your part that is very much appreciated.
I like that you've dropped team wins and lineup appearances as stats, both in terms of simplifying the scoring, and in better valuing the strength of players. I also love that an anti-team can now score you points again. Before you would just hope that players on your anti-team wouldn't play, and although that's still mostly the case, i'll be rooting for my anti-team to make appearances vs the likes of Telecom and Woongjin
