So I've been reading up more and more on Starcraft lore and really have begun to appreciate how immersive and well composed the Starcraft universe and storyline is. There seems to be a large number of deviations and branches, both Blizzard approved and not.
Anyways, I'm curious if anyone knows of any resources that deal particularly with the Aeon of Strife of the Protoss race, whether it be directly or indirectly (mentioned or reviewed in passing). I've already scrounged what little starcraft.wikia has to offer and am starting to read the Dark Templar Saga by Christie Golden.
Also anything dealing specifically with Adun would be appreciated.
Thanks for any help and also any other discussion about the Starcraft Universe is welcome. =]
Regards, Joe
Note: I'm unsure if this is more appropriate in here or in General, so I apologize in advanced if mods disagree with my initial judgement.

If you pick up a copy of starcraft it comes with a manual that is packed with a lot of the lore you are looking for.

The Dark Templar trilogy of books has a good amount of information on this subject.

Yea, keep on reading the Dark Templar trilogy, that's where I got most of what I know about it, and there really is quite a lot about it.

Just finish the 1st book if u want lore on aeon of strife. Although i would recommend u just finish the entire saga since it sort of sets the background for sc2

Thanks for the responses, I was actually thinking of making a more specific timeline similar to the posted link by Plexa that's more specific to the Aeon of Strife period, but I'll see after I read the Dark Templar triology. Anyone got anything on Protoss anatomy, I found some concept orthos on Zeratul (http://bestgamewallpapers.com/files/starcraft-2/protoss-orthos-concept.jpg), but apart from that, not much detailed or close up analysis of a Protoss individual. I'm curious what Aldaris' anatomy was like in particular because his portrait was so different than others that he almost seemed a different race. (although I'm pretty positive there will be no such resources).
