So I was asked to make a map that was as imbalanced as possible without screwing with mineral counts/choke sizes/terrain/expos/other standard melee stuff, so I made this:

Well he couldn't screw with the choke sizes/expos, so no neutral assimilators.

I don't know what to say about this. It looks surprisingly good, although I am worried about mutas wrecking this map.

Doesn't look that imbalanced to me.

Maybe once terrans gets a hold of the midgame, but its hard for them to take a third.
According to Reach, he is the fastest learner he has ever seen. He start bw only like 2/3 years ago. Infact, his bw history knowledge is so limited, he didn't even know what the map Guillotine was.

It's possible something is soooo imbalanced, it becomes balanced for a small subset of strategies.

The long distance to the third base makes mech a little difficult in TvZ, especially since you'll have to factor in taking higher than normal damage from mutas.

Actually, this game kind of bad for Terran during the early game. Late game Terran however... assuming you can get a third base, you can also deny so many bases.
Even though this Proleague bullshit has been completely bogus, I really, really, really do not see how Khan can lose this. I swear I will kill myself if they do. - nesix before KHAN lost to eNature

Ask blizzard if they would like for you to make them a SCII version. You might get payed! ^^ This actually looks like the most balanced map possible for me. I mean with the ramp to the cliff its balanced.

edit: copied from download link.
Quick fix: 12 o'clock natural gas was unbuildable for some reason; bottom creep colony was not generating creep (wtf?).

is the highground behind main minerals buildable?
if so... lol. no comment necessary.

and why the heck is there such a huuugge space around main lol, it's just ASKING for drops. A two-pronged attack (mutas behind main & push at front) would be deadly in ZvT, cuz of the distance marines would have to travel to defend... I originally though T would be good on this map, but now I honestly can't tell who would win lol

edit:

actually, if terran does a solid turtle, it might rape both Z and T IMO... for example if u spawned at 6oclock you can just slow push up the right side. The few good counters would include good air or dark swarm... but dark swarm is negated if you have a bajillion tanks. I guess air is the way to go vT on this map?
The probability of Kim Carrier getting all those predictions wrong is similar to the probability Flash loses a TvT. Kim Carrier MUST BE a genius. His only big mistake... STORK.

If the natural + main were closer to the 3rd gas, it'd be much easier for terran to get an easy 5 gas while pushing to the backdoor of the other player at the same time

I think the mains are fine since the back door is more powerful then and you terrans don't have to complain about there not being enough room to build in.

edit: I just realized that muta/ling can rape all races since you can flank with the lings in the back and front(main and nat) while sending mutas in the mineral lines. I'm so glad zerg is my off-race

Its time for all zerglings and mutas to come and party in the terran's main cerebrates! ^^ Lets get ICcup to allow this map and I'll get battle.net to start playing on this map!

One of these days I will make a really good TvP map. Some highlights:

1. Every mining base has a cliff above it
2. Lots of choke points, high ground and buildable center
3. Extremely short push distances between each base
4. Can wall in only using one Barracks

There's no such thing as a good TvP map. Every map that's good for tanks is even better for carriers and recalls.

So... apparently it wasn't as imba as I thought. I did some rudimentary changes to make it more playable and added unbuildable to a few spots.

actually i thought if the confidence level is higher then it is a good thing o.o, because you are 80% sure that the winrate for tvz actually lies between 55%~ to 95%

the point is that even the lower end of the interval is 5% above 50. if the lower end of an 80% confidence interval is 5% above 50, then theres definitely something wrong.

Awesome map. I've been playing it on B.net and I've been pawning with proxy gates every now and then ^^. O, that and mass muta rushes where I hide my 2 expos and make him think I'm on only 1 base like the total noob my b.net stats say I am.
