This is really a blow for SC2 progaming, as it's going to have to explain exactly how fans like myself can be certain we are watching real games.

I don't think it's as wide spread as you're making it out to be.

He was probably just moved off the A team to make room for Trap, since STX has plenty of zergs and July hadn't played in a proleague match in a very long time. He can still participate in individual leagues on the B team, so it doesn't change his situation and lets STX bring Trap to proleague and maybe use him.

While some people like sAviOr seem to be new-money splurging kids (see: Rolex), Flash sends almost all of his winnings/salary to his parents. They have a savings account or mutual fund or something set up for him that they put all his money in, so that he'll be able to live comfortably once he retires. In other words, Flash is thinking long-term and wouldn't be apt to take up risky short-time corruption deals anyway. He's not the sort who's wasting all his winnings on hookers and blow. Even if Korean law prevents criminal names from being released, let's be real. We'll know if they get arrested. "SKT1 announced today that Bisu, BeSt, and fantasy all decided to retire for unspecified reasons, and they can't be reached for interviews." Come on. edit: and Estro owes Ret a big apology if it turns out that it was SangHo or UpMaGiC who leaked those replays. Seriously. Very important comment... thought I'd bump it.

Do you think KESPA knowing about this, and now just recently the league's (can't remember which league, sorry) changing their rules around to where no one knows who is playing the next round has anything to do with this? Maybe this was KESPA's way of trying to get rid of it without going public...because regardless what anyone says this will hurt BW, or actually, SC esports in SOME way, however minute. It only makes sense that they would try to sort their own problems out before going public and scaring everyone. Does this make sense to anyone else? i'm sure everyone knows this by now

If someone wants to translate, feel free. + Show Spoiler + ![[image loading]](http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/7561/100412144733.jpg) Here is a rough translation of it. It's significantly out of context though. + Show Spoiler + 1. Two players must not have a small difference [in skill] Because the payout rate cannot exceed 2x. There are no stupid betters who will waste their money on payout rates less than 2x. For example, in the case of Flash vs Jaedong MSL finals, the payout rate was 1.1x. 2. The match has to draw an abnormal amount of money. You have to think why that match is drawing that amount of money. Of course there is a skill difference, but there are games where a lot of money was being betted on, unless you are planning on making 1.1~1.2x profit excluding commission. Undoubtedly the opponent's payout rate increased to 5x in those games. And miraculously those players would win and the ones who bet on the disadvantaged players received a significantly higher payout rate. 3. This only applies to players who have a rising trend [in skill]. This means that it only applies to dual-leaguers. Because these players have much fame and skill, they will always earn a win in a team league. If not, then the requirements 1 and 2 cannot be fulfilled. I lost the most money when ACE earned 2 wins in a row... (sigh) I was really dumbfounded. The day before that was acceptable, but really when they got 2 wins... The payout rate was low but I expected to win... This may not be accurate, but a pro told me that there was a match fixing, Much has no offense but the fixing occurred on T1's side The morale of the players who were with them dropped significantly. Because I could see it in their eyes Plus a few days ago Bisu's rigging was found in T1's house so he was inactive Because of the atmosphere ACE won 4:2

I don't want to create crazy theories but you have some strange facts here: estro players names floating around, article about leaked replays, ret kicked from estro's house because he "leaked" replays. If this ends up being true one could say that they ... used him? and even maybe with some coach complicity?

If someone wants to translate, feel free. ![[image loading]](http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/7561/100412144733.jpg) My korean is horrible but this is a suuuuper rough translation. If someone could fill in many of the holes or perhaps misinterpretations I'd appreciate it. The first point he says is that basically it's dumb to bet on games such as jaeddong vs flash because they are so close in skill (basically the odds just aren't there). Which leads to the second point where he says something along the lines of the big money comes from betting on the under dogs. (That's just how I interpreted it, but it makes sense). However the third point he says that the betting basically happens with the top teams or players. It's kind of hard for me to understand. I think it means that no one bets on shit teams. I'll admit I don't follow progaming so I don't exactly know what kind of teams or players he would be talking about. He says something about losing a lot of money by air force ace winning 2 games. Something about everyone (even progamers?) agreeing that something was up with the set. He feels that something definitely is going down with T1. Again, this is very rough. I'm quite horrid at korean, this doesn't really add much to the topic but I just wanted to point out that there wasn't any kind of hidden gem of information posted in that.

I feel like a lot of the players on the so-called "list" are being speculated just because of recent slumps they've had and let's be honest its hard to be on the top for such a long time esp. with the current level of skill. Did this actually happen or are you just speculating? I was trying to look through FOMOS articles and didn't find anything related to this. I really really really hope most of the guys on this list aren't really involved and are just being speculated due to recent slumps. This is REALLY bad for StarCraft and progaming in general. those are people being investigated by the Korean DA; they wouldn't waste their time if they didn't think something wasn't fishy
