How does Ret fit into this? I remember allegations of him releasing replays to another team while he was in korea, which he denied, but after this, it seems more likely....not to accuse him directly, this also gives a player actually selling training replays a better reason to blame him, to cover himself up.
say you were born into a jungle indian tribe where food was scarce...would you run around from teepee to teepee stealing meat scraps after a day lazying around doing nothing except warming urself by a fire that you didn't even make yourself? -rekrul

What about Luxury? His complete collapse of skill and booting from the A team right as this kicks off is mighty suspicious

ret was never accused of selling reps or anything like that, they just thought he was watching them with friends (he wasnt) which isnt allowed in itself.

I am pretty shocked to be honest. All the big names being under investigation. I know people discussed it a lot above but I am really diasppointed that those gamers including really big ones have most probably done it. It makes you wonder if any of those games we all watched was rigged or was is a legit one. Who the fuck knows "who's who".

Even if they found that only some of those players guilty I will still wonder if the other are really innocent and if the current games are fixed or not.

the most scary thing is that we are talking here about fixing games on a huge scale. If there were just a couple of cases then it might be different. But more and more names are being mentioned and it makes me feel really uneasy...

Q: Any final words?
A: Something nasty has happened recently. It's just a rumor, but many progamers whom I believe won't commit such crimes are being named. I am disappointed that so many people are blinded by prejudice; that they are ignoring all the hard work the older progamers have put into making ESPORTS what it is today and is bashing upon ESPORTS as a whole, just because of a handful of people. There are countless other progamers who have worked hard and are still putting in a lot of effort, so I hope they (spectators) continue to watch over us. And I strongly appeal to everyone to continue their support and interest in ESPORTS.

From Sea[Shield] the man himself. Although it is unfortunate that there probably may be some dirt in the SC esports scene, we should also consider those that have worked hard!

This was so obvious. Of course they're fixing matches. Of course Ma Jae Yoon bet against himself in that famous MSL finals and collected a million trillion dollars when he decided not to simply build a spore and sunk at every minline.

so maybe Bisu threw the match to Yellow on HBR, because yellow wanted to still be known as the sexy-zerg-idol.. and the shame from doing so never left Bisu and has contaminated him to his current state...

I don't blame the heater. Maybe if Kespa would treat their heaters better, things like this wouldn't happen.

I have to laugh at all of the 'So that's why ____ happened!' posts.

Seriously, you don't know anything. To attribute every single variable, and every single surprise, and every single misplay to match fixing is absurd. Get a hold of yourselves, and wait until a credible authority provides actual evidence.

As for punishment, the top several cheaters ought to have their licenses revoked or something Pete Rose-esque. A public apology from the rest.

Or: they all move to ACE.

Hmmm... I'm still hoping at least Leta isn't involved, but since so many players from the sparkyz team are under suspicion, I think it's best to be prepared for the worst...
