At the bring of an all-kill, Jaedong suffered a disappointing loss. Regardless, Jaedong undeniably helped his team with his 3-kills. Jaedong, however, is unhappy with himself, saying that 'it should've been an all-kill.' It seems as if to Jaedong, the 3-kill was only short of his goal.
Q: You helped your team a lot with your 3-kill.
A: I came out as the first player because I wanted to do an all-kill. If you look at the stats by itself, a 3-kill is also very impressive, but I wasn't playing my best and didn't get an all-kill so I'm not satisfied with myself. But since our team was ranked low, I feel that the team's win will help the team a lot. That's why I wanted to come out as the vanguard and raise our team's spirit with an all-kill, but since I couldn't I'm still left disappointed. At the last game, Killer managed to win the game in an impressive fashion so I was a bit relieved, but I think I'll be disappointed for the rest of the night.
Q: What were you feeling when your team suffered a 3-kill, right after your 3-kill?
A: The game I lost made me very unhappy. It wasn't a matter of 3 wins; if I had played my best and lost I wouldn't have felt that way, but that game left me very disappointed. When we suffered the 3-kill I actually felt a little dizzy. Everytime one of my teammates went up I was praying for them to win.
Q: It must have reminded you of the last Winner's League finals. Your team suffered a reverse all-kill after your 3-kill then as well.
A: I almost remembered it but after watching Killer's game it all went away (laughs).
Q: Killer's game started off bad for him.
A: Since the positions were diagonal and he did a 9pool speedling build he wasn't in too bad of a shape. I believed that if he played the mid-game well without any mistakes he could have made a comeback. Killer played very well during his game.
Q: Kwanro used a gameplan revolving around a hidden multi.
A: I don't know how I defened either (laughs). Our builds diverged a lot and he went into the game with a lot on pressure on him. But he showed good control and I think luck was with him as well. I think at one instance my control really came through. After Kwanro attacked I managed to control my drones really well, which I believe is the reason I won.
Q: You managed to take full advantage of the hole in free's defenses.
A: I actually didn't have any plans to attack, but when I scouted with my overlord his defenses at his natural seemed a bit shoddy. That's why I produced extra lings and attacked. The attack went well so I could win easily.
Q: You went up against Crazy-Hydra for the 3rd match, who you lost to in Round 2 of the Proleagues.
A: I told myself that I had to win since I lost to him in Round 2. Before the 3rd match started I think I did a good job keeping my cool. I lost the build order war but there was a time when I lost to ggaemo in a similar situation, and he told me that 'if you do this you might be able to win' so I was amazed when the a similar situation came up in the 3rd match. ggaemo's suggestion was a big help.
Q: You unfortunately lost your 4th match.
A: When a number of my zerglings chased two of his I was at a disadvantage. I think I let my guard down for a second. I was thinking that if I won the game I would get an all-kill and then began worrying when I confirmed his build. Honestly, because of that even if I got a 3-kill I wasn't very satisfied.
Q: Both against Flash and ZerO you played very un-Jaedong-like and lost.
A: There are times when my concentration begins to slip during a game. I think it's been happening more recently so I've been trying to recover. Honestly, heat affects me a lot and it was very hot inside the booth. Even with the AC on only the bottom of the booth became cool. I felt things like those affected my ability to play.
Q: Killer is being called the 'Little Jaedong.'
A: He is similar to me but he's still not close. He's just started so he has to continue trying harder.
Q: You said you volunteered to be the vanguard player because you wanted an all-kill.
A: I was thinking of only doing an all-kill today. Before the games the coach told me to just do a 3-kill, but my goal was an all-kill.
Q: Did you think you could do an all-kill because your opponent was the Woongjin Team?
A: After losing to KT I felt that if I went out as the vanguard I would be able to do an all-kill regardless of what team it was. I won the individual leagues but we lost in the team leagues right after, so that made me a bit bitter. My desire to raise our spirits with an all-kill was large.
Q: Any parting words?
A: Today was a very important series. It's important that we ride this win to raise our spirits and continue winning. I want to to be on a 3-game winning streak before I go back to my hometown for the Lunar New Year. And I want to thank ggaemo for giving me the advice that helped me win my 3rd match, as well as my other practice partners.

Facing a reverse all-kill situation, Killer managed to defeat ZerO and seal the victory for Hwaseung. In a disadvantage position, Killer managed an amazing comeback game.
Q: You must be very happy with your game today.
A: I played the game thinking that I wouldn't lose so even after I won I wasn't overly happy.
Q: You were about to get reverse all-killed. Weren't you nervous?
A: Because I'm so confident in my ZvZ I didn't even worry about the fact that my opponent was on a 3-kill win streak and had the momentum. I did think about the fact that if I lost, my team would lose to a reverse all-kill, but when I was playing I kept my concentration.
Q: You said you were confident against zerg. Are you confident against Jaedong?
A: I am confident. I do lose a lot when we play back in the training house but we don't know about broadcast games, right? Someday I have to become a good a gamer as Jaedong, so I don't think I can let that stop me.
Q: You had a comeback win.
A: My hatchery at natural finished and no zerglings arrived. That's why I let my guard down a bit and then all of a sudden my hatchery was under attack, so I panicked. I thought that I had to block the attack with my drones no matter what. ZerO was ahead so he tried to play safe, which let me come back and win.
Q: How did you manage your comeback?
A: I believed that if I could draw time with my zerglings and secure an expansion I would be in an alright situation. I was satisfied with what my zerglings accomplished.
Q: How do you feel about being called the 'Little Jaedong'?
A: A lot of people say that but I'm not satisfied with that. If I was a little better I don't think I would mind hearing something like that, but I don't think I'm at that level yet. Jaedong, who is in the top position right now, also practices a lot. If I had the focus to practice like he does I think I could be happy with being called the 'Little Jaedong.'
Q: Your ranking is improving every round.
A: I know my faults better than anyone else. In Round 1 I was 3 wins 7 losses. In Round 2 I was 6 wins 4 losses. I'm getting better and better so I believe I'll show even better results in Round 3.
Q: Do you have a goal for Winner's League?
A: My goal is to get more than 1-kill whenever I step out to play. I want to do better but since I'm not sure yet so I'm not going to hope for too much.
Q: Any parting words?
A: Hwaseung Oz fighting1
