On the issue of Flash v Fantasy + Show Spoiler +From a fomos post. As far as I know, they consider results from April 08 to mid-November 09 (listed flash then fantasy) Individual Leagues: (flash bacchus win not included?) Ever 08: Ro8 v prelims Arena: Ro4 v Ro32 Incruit: Ro8 v silver Club day: Ro32 v Ro 32 Batoo: Ro16 v silver Lost saga: Ro16 v Ro32 Bacchus09: Ro16 v Ro4 Avalon: Ro16 v Ro16 Ever09: Ro16 in progress v Ro16 in progress Nate: Ro32 in progress v prelims Proleague: 08: Most wins, MVP v nothing 08-09: most wins v finals MVP 08 winrate (after April): 17-8 (68%) v 1-4 (25%) 08-09 winrate: 54-19 (74%) v 35-24 (59%) Head to head: Flash leads 3-2 The rest of that image is like winrates in 08 after April, 09, and in 08-09 I heard that proleague is given more weight, and I think I heard somewhere that Gom is actually considered in this so Flash has an individual league win So I think it's pretty clear that Flash should win

Here's a handy statistic for those that can't decide between Stork and Bisu for best protoss: Since September 1st, 2008 Stork's winning percentage is 59.86%, with 88 wins and 59 losses. In the same time frame, Bisu's winning percentage is 72.00% with 126 wins and 49 losses.
How is there even the slightest doubt that Bisu should be getting this award? I think that recent performances are weighing far too heavily on many people's minds. It's as if the past month completely erases the past year.

It's as if the past month completely erases the past year. Not to mention the past month shouldn't even count. Just as the MBC coach's achievements count toward the 09-10 season, so do Stork's achievements. The award is supposed to be for the 08-09 season, and Stork wasn't showing signs of renewed dominance until WCG Korea, a month after proleague ended and just after MSL/OSL ended (even there he got soundly 2-0ed by Bisu).

Someone needs to do a Bisu v Stork chart in the style of the Flash v Fantasy chart.
EDIT:
Bisu --- Stork Ever08: Ro16 v Ro16 Arena: Ro32 v Prelims Incruit: Ro8 v Winner ClubDay: Winner v Ro8 Batoo: Ro4 v Ro8 Lost Saga: Prelims v Ro32 Bacchus: Ro16 v Ro16 Avalon: Ro8 v Ro32 Ever09: Prelims v Ro16 in Progress Nate: Ro32 v Ro32
Winrate: Bisu - 126-49, 72.00% Stork - 88-59, 59.86%
Head-to-head, 3-3 (5-3 Bisu leads if WCG Korea is included)
Bisu has a convincing lead by the statistics. He's got the higher winrate, the head-to-head performance, and of the counted individual leagues, the better performance (if you count WCG and GOM, his individual league performance is far better). Even if you include Ever09 and the Nate MSL, Stork would have to make it to the Ro4 for you to even be able to consider his individual league to be comparable (and even then, there's still the huge disparity in their general win rates).

Bisu never won a Starleague. :D The Starleague =/= MSL. MSL isn’t Starleague, it’s MBCGame Starcraft League. (The Starleague is registered trademark of OnGameNet.)
