Such a great interview uhjoo. I think the last two days liquid has been able to open up completely new areas and shed light on two different facets of progaming that people really have not seen before. Superb job.

One thing that wasn't mentioned in the interview was that Rose.of.Dream does check our site, and compared it to an english pgr21.com ^^; a pretty flattering comparison if I say so myself.

i sort of wondered this myself, but if i had to guess, it would be because nostalgia is almost a throwback LT-type map that encourages traditional center fights rather than lots of strange guerrilla tactics (like bifrost). paradoxx is more obvious-- there are a number of paradoxes on that map, i.e. it's an island map that you don't have to expand on to win, you have plenty of gas but it's not particularly rewarding because your opponent does as well, it's an island map but on the other hand if you take control of that middle area with pure ground you're at a great advantage, etc.

mani's right about opening up opinions of other people that are involved in the BW community.

would it be possible to conduct an interview with Um Jae-kyung in the future? that guy is great, even more so with GundamVX's 2 subtitled games. I feel he's THE MAN to talk to when you want opinions on the progamers and the progaming scene.

a definative plus is to spread TL to an even greater source of publicity: a commentator rather than a busy-bee progamer.

I always thought Nostalgia felt a lot more like Rivalry, just with a more open middle. Dunno though.

Ah, so he plays mostly protoss. There's hope then. It would also explain maps like Paradoxx
I am glad to hear from the source that only one map from Ever Starleague will survive. Perhaps the folks that like balance can look forward to good times. And while it's easy to derride map makes for imbalance just remember it's difficult to make maps balanced and original. And originality is important if he wants to keep his job!

It's a good thing he browses this site as some insight here may be used for his future productions.
