I miss the simple days of the past when they can just give us a widows disk, we'd purge the machine, and all was well.

I just made a back-up in case my Windows 7 somehow decides to totally screw up on me, but it doesn't appear to be the case.

You can install 32bit things into 64bit os. It runs quite well. On top of that with the right hardware you can have xp virturalization. so anything that isn't working properly in 7 you can make it work with xp mode.

dont use 64 bit...

+ 1 to kentor

a lot of compatibilty problems, and you barely notice any improvements

I have always preferred the 32 bit OS versions, somehow i have always managed to be one out of a million people that use a program that does not work with 64 bit. Not sure how i do it but its happened a lot. And with 3G or ram i am still ok with it so i dont mind using 32 bit as much.
