Aaaaaah, mudfest. Unfortunately, the weekend was rainy and .. well, rainy the whole time that I didn't get a chance to go on any rides or anything but it was still a good time.
There is a festival each year in a small beach town called Boryeong (about 2 hours from Seoul) called Mudfest.

Upon arriving:
The sky was dreary and bleak. I was sad. Because of work, I ended up arriving a lot later than everyone else and apparently I missed out on a lot of fun  Still, there were fireworks amidst the rain:
while we rain around in search of shelter and umbrellas. There were a ton of people in the streets, already drunk from that day's festivities. Due to the rain, we ended up going back to our room early with a bottle of whiskey in hand to play card games.
Shaun and Tom ran off somewhere to drink and I think they eventually made it back in the middle of the night because they were there in the morning.
Sunday afternoon - the weather was still hazy.
But that didnt keep us from having fun!
(PS. It's quite difficult to take pictures when there is mud all over one's hands.)
Shortly after hanging out on the beach, kicking around a soccer ball, etc. we all "washed" ourselves off in the ocean. Turned out that we didn't even need to get into the ocean, however, because it started to rain again. -___-
We got back, showered, rested and then went out again to walk around a bit. Everyone went their separate ways for a few hours as our train didn't leave until 9:25pm.

We all met up again around 7ish, took the village bus back to the train station - and walked around E-mart (Korean version of Walmart) to kill some time until 9, and I think the moment we got on our train, everyone passed out until we arrived back in Seoul around 12:10am.
Overall, it was another great weekend. <3

Usually when we go out and expect to get wet we put our cellphones/camera/etc. in a washed condom. did you do the same lilsusie?

Haha, nah I just had my camera get mud all over it. It had a case but that thing is in the wash right now. I'm surprised actually, that the camera still works. It's now been thru mud and rain. For those of you with my facebook, I have more pictures up on there.

lol whats mudfest? You just run around in the mud? The rain seems ideal for something called mudfest to me lol.

Taken from my friend's album. One of the rides I missed out on cuz I got there too late. and because of the rain, they didn't put it out again on Sunday. Look at how many people were there on Friday! If I could afford to, I'd love to go out there this weekend but... don't think I'll have time. sad face!!

LOL no skin disease but because of the rain, had some bad seafood that caused me to be sick
