Despite the fact I firmly beleive that Anytime is the least deserving OSL winner of recent memory and that both his So1 and Shinhan 2 OSL runs were flukes, abusing players weak matchups and stealing builds from better gamers and hence appearing like he's actually good, Anytime is still the power player within ACE at the moment. It is painfully clear that this is Anytime's ACE team; when opinions about ACE are needed Anytime is asked, when Ace get 1-3'd it's Anytime that won the game and when the team needs support they turn to Anytime.
Wasn't Anytime known for having one of the hardest roads ever to the OSL finals? I don't see how you could say his runs were flukes. Even when Nada won his golden mouse the players Anytime fought up to the final were much harder than Nada's players in that they were better known, established, and more feared during that run.
If you say Anytime's 2nd OSL run was a fluke you could even easier say Nada's Golden Mouse run was a fluke especially as a history buff, cause then it's like rewriting it. And there is no discussion that July's Golden Mouse run was without contest much more of a fluke though I do like July.
On the topic of builds at the time I can't present as good an argument because I don't know. Anytime was nicknamed Sashin Toss for his trademark dark templar usage. Evidently unique enough and used enough to the degree to give him the nickname Death God, almost like a trademark in that he uses dark templars.
Abusing player's weak matchups? What about Iloveoov and Midas in the semifinals when they were still very strong. And the number of established players he fought when estabilished players won. Boxer in the finals of course Boxer is at a disadvantage vs a Protoss, and Nada surprised everyone by getting to the finals and was never bad at Terran vs Protoss.

July won OSLs before EVER2008. Anytime did not before So1. Plus, Anytime beat BoxeR and robbed him of the Golden Mouse. For that, I forever hate AnyTime, even if he does make my second favorite team (and first true love of the progaming scene - rooting for ACE) worthwhile.
This makes sense and I can understand.
