It was pretty horrifying, ahahahah. We just have these bad days where we fuck up our build orders, don't notice that the spire didn't start because we were short on mineral, upgrade hydra speed instead of lurker aspect, make a batch of scourge instead of mutas, etc. | ||

 Edit: My worst streak in this season was like 2-24 starting with a 0-12 first at d+ level, the strange thing is that i cant remember even noticing it.. >< | ||

Sometimes I don't play for a week and really WANT to play. half the time I play better than i used to for some reason. half the time, I dont know wtf I'm doing. I haven't played for a week. When you are on a big losing streak it helps to take a break. I don't heed my own advice though - losing makes me want to play more. When I'm losing, I just keep playing. I'm searching for that 1 damn win to break the streak, and it just never comes, and I lose and lose and lose. This used to happen with 1v1's as well when I stilled played 1v1. | ||

The same thing is happening again now that I'm trying to learn Terran. I lost 10 games before winning my first game, which was a TvT. It felt so sweet. | ||

How can you motivate yourself to improve after a losing streak? really this sometimes gets in my head.. Like, before I played online I had some build orders that I remembered but cannot execute them very well. After I seasoned myself online (4 months) mostly I just go reactionary to opponents build order. But now, after losing alot to my friends how are D+ and C-, I mean hell, I forgot everything I remembered because I keep on thing "when can I pass these guys performance?" I'll just jut down some of the stuff I do when i lose. 1. Don't play too much, so I'm like so addicted to it. 2. Then I just play UMS. 3. I watched old replays to check what I did wrong. 4. Try to look for a D- that I can easily win. (LOL nony's guide to noob bashing) Help me out, maybe you guys have other rituals that can actually help my attitude when it comes to motivation. | ||
