Art of Fighting - Comedy. Please Teach me English - comedy/romance - I like this mainly because it has Jang Hyuk in it. Boys of Tommorow - it doesn't really fall into the above catergories, but it's an interesting film in itself. Someone behind you - decent korean horror about a school girl with a death wish. Like a Virgin - has my favourite korean actor Ryeo Deokhwan - it's got some nice comedy moments. | ||

Hm and it was a long time since I watched it, but I liked R-Point (yeah same name as the SC map  ). Korean vietnam-war horror. Ages since I watched it and don't remember if it was a pure horror movie or more of a survival/horror type deal but meh =]Memories of murder doesn't fit into any of the categories either but is also v good imo. | ||

I mean, they started off strong with the whole creepy-girl-ghost-with-messed-up-limbs concept but that got really old, really fast, partly because its used in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. On a side-note, you should check out Rinne (환생). It's a J-Horror but it's really different (read: good). | ||

for me, it wasn't much of a thriller, but a huge frustration on the Korean police during the entire movie. it angered me so much to know that there were so many flaws in their procedures of putting criminals in prison. the movie is basically meant to show the fucked up korean police, which is true. the story is inspired by the korean serial killer named 유영철. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoo_Young-chul this movie will have you seated at ALL TIME, but there's no satisfaction or anything in the end, just the same frustration you're gonna have from the beginning to the end. and the actress 서영희 as 미진 was so gorgeous in this movie. by the way, both acting and filming are a topnotch. if you get to watch it, let me know how it was for you. i'd recommend 살인의 추억, which has some similarities to 추격자 regarding Korea's fucked up police. 송강호's acting is just amazing. he's pretty damn funny in this movie. the movie's supposed to be serious but there are some dark humors as well. this movie is also based on the true story. also if you're into any gangster movies, watch 비열한 거리. i'm sure you've already seen 친구, so i'm not gonna even mention it. the movie is not like a lot those gay comic mob movies like 두사부일체, 가문의 영광, and etc. anyway, have fun watching movies! | ||
