ah the beauty. solve your mosquito problem with frogs, not chemicals that you have to pay for and destroy the environment. if we could have efficiency driven methods instead of profit driven methods...

Everything I need to know about frogs I learned from crabapple's vid

Yeah, but then how are you going to solve the frog problem!?!?!?

There were actually tadpoles in our old sandbox with water (though no sand) in it a few years ago. They were toads though, this area is rather dry. We actually added dechlorinated water to it because it would have evaporated, and that would have been messy. It was neat when 100 tiny toads started jumping out everywhere. GLHF

You win.

My friend's family owns some property out in the boonies, and last time I was there with him and a lot of friends, and we were all laying on a blanket in a big forest clearing at night stargazing, telling dirty jokes (it was a mixed crowd so no homo), and just enjoying ourselves. There was a lake nearby and the constant sound of bull frogs was so awesome to hear, being a person who lives just shy of the city. There were a lot of bugs though, so hopefully the bull frogs eat them all.

WAT BOUT A HAWK

A proud eagle or hawk wouldn't eat the frogs.
You need a Stork for this task!
|
Steve, I think you need to draw us a MS Paint picture of these tadpoles, and there soon to be "Frog" state.
|
I don't get it, a pond with a stream??? And if that is possible, shouldn't the tadpoles be taken by the current?
|
the stream could have a very very weak flow

its a weak stream, there's a pump at the bottom of the pond with a screen over it so the tadpoles can't get sucked in
but its not a strong pump, they can just swim around when the stream is running

That's pretty cool. Fakesteve will be popular with all the 5 year old boys who unleash frogs in schoolhouses, even though it feels like an anachronism.
